Growing up in Christian households, we were both quite sheltered. Christian music only, PG movies, no Harry Potter, the whole shebang (more or less). So what happened afterward? How much did we have to find? How much time did we spend learning about all the things we missed out on so that we could actually hold a conversation with people? The podcast is officially a full year old! We don't have anything super special planned, but it's fun to at least acknowledge a milestone like this. Before you get excited, neither one of us is getting married. Or is even remotely close to a step that resembles anything close to it. But, two of Kyle's best friends just got engaged and it got us thinking about marriage. Jacob doesn't want kids, so does he want to get married? Kyle absolutely wants to get married, but when? People always talk about what they would do if someone got in their way, or if they had another chance to have the argument how they would use their fists to get the point across. But no one has ever perfected the art of what to do after a fight? If you've knocked them out cold, do you just leave? What if they're still conscious, do you have to say something before you leave? History is fascinating, there's always something to learn, and most importantly, knowing things makes you seem all smart and stuff. So we figured we'd go through some interesting times we love through history (though not everything we love) and maybe learn you a thing or two. Are you looking for positive change in the Olympic Games? Inclusivity to more sports? Well this isn't exactly the right place to make those changes, but by golly we talk about it. Today we're going through all the sports that take place in the Olympics - winter or summer - and determining which sports don't need to be a part of them anymore. Maybe they bore us. For years, the looming question hanging over many jobs has been "Will I one day get replaced by a robot?". Comedy is versatile, it has a universal reach, and it's different to everybody. But just how different is it between Jacob and Kyle? They share very similar comedic senses, but there are some things the other finds extremely funny that the other doesn't understand at all? Why?
