i absolutely love kendall, josh and the podcast. i’ve been here since the very first episode and love the growth. i just think it’s strayed from its original purpose. they used to cover lots of topics that made you think: aliens, conspiracies, legends, yearly discoveries, supernatural stuff, etc. now this is more of an extension of kendall’s youtube channel. 9/10 it’s just true crime now. great stories & coverage, i just wish they could find a nice balance.

The Missy Bevers episode was just…bad. How can this case be so well known and very easy to research yet you still have outdated information? You quote her husband from right after her murder, but she’s been gone for almost 8 years. His opinions have changed. I’ve never heard anyone speculate and repeat themselves so much then follow it up with…but we don’t want to speculate. Quit half a..ing it, quit summing up Wikipedia. Anyone who is remotely familiar with one of the cases you cover will be disappointed when they listen to this podcast.

Do you like listening to two people read Wikipedia while inserting a bit of pretty awful speculation. Good. That’s what this is! They don’t research very well at all! It’s disrespectful to tell victims stories like this! They act like they know it all but are so severely misinformed on so many topics from occult to victims stories to true crime. They don’t know much!

I have been a true fan since the very very beginning.. that being said I have noticed Kendall & Josh “Recycling” content across all channels/podcasts. I think they have the impression that with all the new listeners they won’t remember when Josh and Kendal already covered it and can get a easy week of work done. It’s understandable but it leaves all the old fans disappointed. I get excited to listen to find its something they have actually covered before whether they are cross-covering the story or even multiple covers.. its been getting repetitive for me. I hope there is time to find cases or stories without much cover! If you are looking for a good place to listen to some true crime or conspiarcy theories this is a good place to start but if TRULY interested in a case PLEASE do your own research. I have found that Kendal and Josh are poor researchers, they are NOT thorough and miss allot of details which often changes the course of the story steering it away from the truth and changing their opinions (which they are very vocal about)… I can’t bring myself to listen to any true crime because after listening to crime weekly cover cases mile higher has I realize just how BAD at research they really are… It’s eye opening seeing how pretentious really Kendal is (because in real life she doesn’t respect the victims, will make fun of them and REFUSE to acknowledge it or apologize even after families contact them, and wont remove content even when asked by families..) It’s important that true crime is geared towards awareness and not for profit.

The first 20 minutes of the episode I listened to had nothing to do with the story, it was basically the host talking about himself and his old police explorer program. I had to shut it off.

Hey my name is dakarai, love the podcast, to answer y’all’s question about Tennessee when it come to the LGBTQ community, I myself isn’t a part of that community, but, I am supportive of that community. here in Tennessee it’s gotten better as far as individuals go when it comes to people who are of that community and of course you still have people who are not in agreement with it, but Tennessee is for sure starting to become more progressive in that sense.

Metro State alum here, living in Florida. POD is great. Better still if y’all tap the amazing secrets of Colorado.

I understand that Josh and Kendall have a child now and need to bring in more money to support their family, but the ads are absolutely ridiculous. The stories have become boring as well.

I love this podcast because of the kindness of the hosts. Kendall and Josh often choose true crime cases that highlight minorities: Native Americans, LGBTQ, African Americans etc. They present the victims’ stories with understanding and never any judgement. Some of their podcasts are very long. I don’t listen to all of their podcasts, but when I do listen I am always impressed with the professionalism and empathy they show. They also occasionally cover cults and paranormal stories. Highly recommend for open minded listeners!

I’ve been a fan of Kendall Rae for sooooo long. Even way back in her makeup days. Kendall, Josh, and Janelle are so empathetic when covering heavy topics. They are victim and families-of-victims-centered (how it should be). So many true crime creators nowadays are “views centered” which is so selfish and disgusting. Not Mile Higher tho!! They very clearly care so much about getting the word out there, not spreading misinformation, and giving families a platform. Keep doing what you’re doing guys❤️❤️❤️

I came across Kendall’s YouTube channel in 2019 . I remember binge watching all her episodes. I then started listening to the mule higher podcast & then followed the the sheesh and lights out! Love all of them! I highly recommend. Great for long road trips or just daily listening.

I began listening awhile ago and enjoyed then these two (Josh and Kendall) really got under my skin. Not only do they banter and seem to dislike one another in general, but they really like hearing themselves talk vs. getting to the point of the case they are covering. About 40 minutes of any given episode can easily be cut. Further, they are very blah and sound depressed and are an energy drain.

I’ve been listening since literally day 1 when these topics were “Talk Tuesday” with Josh on Kendall’s channel! I just love the Mile Higher Crew. Love listening and watching the videos, I still watch Kendall’s channel and now the sesh! Kendall you are a pioneer, you do so much good work on behalf of the victims and their families, wishing you all the best!

I stopped listening about 2 months ago, started to get the ick. The bashing of other women, lacks the feminine power I once listened for.

I absolutely love everything that Mile Higher Media has to offer. I started out loving KRTC on FB and I’ve truly immersed myself in all Kendall and Josh have to offer. Kendall you remind me of my best friend growing up and I enjoy every second of your personality. It actually irks me to my core that people come down on you so hard for being the best version of yourself. Anyone can sit around rattling off facts about a case but it’s your corky, fun-loving and honest personality that sets this show apart from the rest. Don’t ever let people change you. The playful dynamic between you guys is the best and and even though most of this content is very harsh and real, I still laugh and have fun listening to the way you guys interact. Mile higher is my favorite podcast to fall asleep to. It’s my go to every night, even if it does take me days to get through an episode because I fall asleep too fast 😂 it’s also so easy to listen to on long car rides. I’ve watched Kendal forever and love the variety that mile higher provides. It’s so calm and informative. Keep up the good work guys 🫶🏼

Used to be very interesting but it’s not just poor quality research and topics that everyone else is covering. Not to mention it’s riddled with ads that are unreliable! The host has historically talked down on some of the companies she now does ads with.

This podcast used to be my favorite. I miss the conspiracy topics, it’s nothing but true crime now. They do the same cases as all the other true crime podcasts do😴 Y'all don’t even have the same chemistry on set anymore lol take a break if you gotta. Go back to conspiracy ✌️

I really love the podcast but wish they would only talk about the subject and not take 15-30min talking about a different topic. I try to skip and never know when we start. (Not talking about ads, but when they talk about other cases or topics before starting what the episode is about) Random starts…

The themes annoying. Also, Awhile back I remember hearing Kendall say she can’t do the dark stuff in terms of true crime. So josh went out and did lights out.but lately all the episodes are true crime murder stories, latest on a child. So some murders okay but not others? Just a weird ideology. The nail in the coffin for me that made me unsubscribe was Kendall’s comments on their multiple part gabby petito edition, stating something Along the line of it made her really sick knowing all these people are just trying to cash in on her murder…. Uh, irony? Hypocrite? your show(for profit) is based off people’s deaths and specifically Gabbys. I don’t hear about you guys donating any profits to any of these issues…or starting any nonprofits to help anything. No, you used the money to make a new studio and whatever. also, The episode drops are pretty inconsistent without any reasoning presented, for what looks like a pretty grear audience.

This used to be my favorite podcast to listen to because I felt they truly cared about what they were covering and they spoke up during many injustices that happened throughout the years and shared ways we can help and make a difference. I found that to be very commendable and I was happy to be apart of something positive. Their embarrassing silence for the people of Palestine experiencing genocide is very telling. They had no problem speaking up for BLM and for women’s rights when Roe v Wade was being overturned or even hosting an entire episode to speak about religion so I find myself questioning why it is that they are being silent about this considering they normally don’t shy away from speaking on “controversial” issues. My best guess is that they don’t want to lose sponsors or can’t benefit financially enough to make it a talking point since they make a living off of everyone else’s tragedies and pick and choose what’s not important enough to speak up for I guess. It takes three seconds to do some research and speak on the genocide affecting the innocent people in Gaza and call for a ceasefire and use your HUGE platform you built off of VICTIMS to include rep. information so people can call and demand a ceasefire. Your whole platform was built on the premise that you were being a voice for those in need and your silence is embarrassing. It reeks of hypocrisy and privilege.

I listened to a few episodes because I liked the premise, however, when I listened to a few episode on topics I happen to know a lot about, particularly the episodes on Jim Jones and the Salem Witch Trials, it became obvious that there isn’t much research put into these episodes. Which, in turn, makes me question their information in the other episodes. It’s a bummer because they cover a lot of great topics- they just don’t seem to do it very well.

With Missy Beavers has anyone explored the theory of it being a rando with some form of religious trauma tied to Christianity having a mental health crisis and the vandalism have been the goal but Missy stumbled into the mentally ill person and the worst happened?

I do like this podcast. Pretty interesting, and I keep it in my rotation. One thing I can say though, I hate this recap thing your doing in the beginning. Why? What is it for? Thanks!

They made fun of a murder victim, Linda Stein, in one of their episodes. When the family of Linda, as well as viewers/listeners, reached out to the crew at MHP to apologize to the family, they refused. Not only did they refuse to apologize to Linda Steins’s family, but they completely ignored them. Eventually, they started filtering out all comments that included Linda’s name to avoid criticism. Kendall Rae struts around like she’s the moral and ethical goalpost for true crime reporting online…but mark my words, she is a greedy wolf in sheep’s clothing. As of the day of this review, Kendall has still not apologized to the family of Linda Stein. Pathetic.

I loved this show and the others but unfortunately things change and they refuse to even acknowledge any criticism from their longtime fans. Keep deleting comments 🙃

I love Josh and Kendall’s podcast. So fun!

It’s a testament to listeners when a podcast has ads. Companies used to pay ludicrous amounts of money to people for advertising. Now, some podcasts will have ads to make a penny. I’m actually getting on board with leaving podcasts that have ads now. Most subs are bots anyway. Ads are just a red flag now.
