A lot of TTRPG content is overdramatized and curated where this is actual play with actual players enjoying the game. is it a little rough around the edges? Is it a little quirky? Were Rufus and Burne questionable leaders? The answer is yes to all of these and is exactly why you should listen to Mighty Deeds!

The Murfreesboro Murderhobo crew are the real deal. They play the game. They do the voices. They make the jokes. They snipe at each other (esp at Glen). Not scripted- just real gaming like you do at your own table. I miss Waxwing and Mike’s lisp. I want to switch my membership from #teamcarl to #teamsully. Jason, you cannot reel a tape in with a pencil. Most pencils were too small. Use a Bic pen instead.

Long time listener, first time reviewer. I feel rather guilty that I have listened to every episode and enjoyed them immensely and yet only now, after countless pleas for reviews, am I sitting down to write said review. This podcast feels like home. It feels like the kind of home game that me and my buds have. It is relatable, wholesome ( for the most part, I’m looking at you Carl) entertaining and endearing. Real folks entertaining the masses with good ol’ homebrew DCCD&D. Keep up the good work!

This is a fun group to listen to! I'd recommend listening to thier backlog too and see how their game has changed over time. Listening to the Judges bring in different rules and run homebrew content seemlessly gave me the confidence to try the same in my home games! Plus, this is DCC! So you get the deadly funnel eppisodes at the start of a season, w00t! Keep up the great work my fellow gongfarmers!

What are these guys playing? Dungeon Crawl Classics, a gonzo TTRPG from Goodman Games. Sort of. I mean, the thief in the party crits with every single attack for some reason, and they’re straight up in Gygax’s World of Greyhawk, and the monsters are all playing with 5E rules, and they’re using all kinds of wacky character classes, and… That’s kind of the point. DCC played well is a rollercoaster ride of a game, and these guys play it for maximum fun. Nice!
