Please enjoy our interview with the loveliest soul, who ever-so-generously shared their personal experience with postpartum psychosis. As always we thank you for continuing to listen in on whatever shit we want to talk about each week! If you're a doula, midwife or parent who has a story, some info or experience with any postpartum mood disorder, please consider sending them to us at [email protected] or MwnLPod.com/connect.

You definitely might wanna get buzzed for this one! We'll be getting into the History of Midwifery and Licensed Midwifery Law & Rule here in Florida. Which doesn't sound super exciting!! However the way things are progressing, especially with FL's political climate, it's important to know how we stripped a whole group of Midwives of Color, from being able to serve their communities. And how we're still struggling to bring more BIPOC people into the Midwifery world.
** DISCLAIMER ** Please excuse the poor sound quality and background noises in this episode, which was recorded several months ago when we were still figuring out all of our settings. Thank you for sticking through our awkwardness! And we'll happily revisit this topic again in the future, for a better quality recording!

Hey! Thank you so much for joining us! In this episode we discuss the hormones of physiological labor/birth as well as how childbirth changes your brain! We'll happily revisit this topic as a whole later once we figure our shit out. But we breakdown each hormone responsible during labor and we will definitely dive into these MUCH more on an individual level as we become a little more experienced. Please note: These episodes have been recorded since Fall 2022 and we have since decided that Ashleigh and Erica will EACH present a topic each episode. So we do genuinely hope you enjoy and if not, you're so totally free not to listen... Now that's out of the way, who wants to get buzzed and talk about birth shit?
