The Gospel of John presents Yeshua's miracles, signs, and wonders as evidence to persuade the reader to believe that He is the Messiah. But Maimonides raises several objections to that argument. Does the Messiah really have to perform miracles? Was Moses validated by miracles? What does the Torah say about a miracle worker who teaches Israel to stray from the Torah? Yeshua of Nazareth is THE prophet that God sent to warn fo the nation about the destruction of the second Temple. That places him on par with Jereimaih, Isaiah, and Ezekiel and puts him into the status of a verified prophet. 

It's often said that the Jewish people did not recognize the Messiah because they were anticipating a powerful warrior not a gentle teacher. That's not the case. The Messiah is a teacher of Torah and rabbi who leads the nation back to the Torah through repentance. Reason number 3 for believing Yeshua is the Messiah is that he is the rabbi to all Israel.  

What does it mean to be made "in the image and likeness of God"? This teaching explains the difference between "image" and "likeness" and explains how human beings are all made in the image of God but have lost the likeness of God.
