What arrived is one of the most baffling and creatively bankrupt horror releases we have seen in years. On New Movie Monday, Griffey, Heath and Sam dig into a movie apparently made for children, yet far too grotesque for children to watch. We discuss its personality-free villain, juvenile humor, incoherent characters, recycled horror imagery and a finale involving a basement freezer, a necromancer and one extremely convenient grave. Then the debate gets heated as we confront the movie's use of generative AI, Roth's misleading explanation and whether this disastrous launch betrays everything The Horror Section claimed it would represent.
