Women’s sexuality has long been a topic of conversation and debate, from those who feel that it’s within a woman’s right to express her sexuality freely, to others who believe that explicit sexual expression should not be so public. But it’s not so black and white. The conversation around female sexuality regained attention after the release of WAP, and the debate around the visuals and lyrics of the single proves that we still have a long way to go when it comes to how women choose to represent themselves. Because before WAP, there was Bette Davis, Dorothy Dandridge, and others who paved the way for the music videos we see today.  Destiny and Victoria visit the topic and their own experiences in sexual expression and give listeners an opportunity to create their own truths regarding the topic.
