Only a few episodes in but the hilarious banter between the hosts (and guests) keeps even the more heavy topics light. I especially appreciate the different perspectives on online dating platforms… the enthusiasm and distain.

This podcast is so much fun to listen to. TJ has this insanely hot voice and Gena might be the best friend I haven’t met yet. Somehow I gave this podcast an amazing review and left one star... whoops. 5 stars ALL DAY!

Oh man TJ and Gena are incredibly hilarious and witty!

Dating in Chicago can def be a drag but this podcast really brings levity to the whole situation. The hosts are really sweet and relatable and their stories could be any of ours. It’s nice to remember that it’s not just you. 5 stars for sure. You’re next fun pod binge.

True crime (more so comedy based, less so super serious) is usually my jam.. especially to distract me from the boring office life I have during the day. But these two are something special. Their hilarious banter and guests and Gena’s infectious laugh.. it just makes my day. I’m upset I’m all caught up now.. Being a single mom, twice divorced from the lovely men of my past... I’m not just laughing my butt off embarrassingly in front of co-workers, I’m also learning a lot because I am so so lost when it comes to this whole dating thing. And I know if I tried a serious dating podcast, I’d turn off. I tried reading some books and I didn’t finish them. I just can’t do boring and these two are anything but. Enough about me.. listen to them and this podcast because it’s great!

Let’s start with the fact that Gena and TJ have great podcast voices. That’s worth a mention. But this is one of my new favorite podcasts because these are real conversations about real life. Also love that you had the Overheard In Chicago ladies join you this week cause that’s also my new favorite IG. Can’t wait for the next one!!

I have a hard time sticking with podcasts because sometimes I don’t feel like I’m connecting with the topics or hosts. While I’m not dating nor do I know how the world of computer love works these days, I love that this pod feels like a conversation among friends.

Great podcast. Easy chemistry, great conversational pace. Fun, relatable, and current topics. The first episode will pull you in and the others will reward you for coming back. On point all the way.

It’s definitely a good listen. Always get a few chuckles out of it and want to hear what’s next. However, I do agree with Kris and the interrupting the guest when they are trying to tell their stories, that’s why I couldn’t do 5 stars. I understand it’s a conversation but it’s also kind of an interview. I listen to A LOT of podcasts. And all good ones have a good balance of casual conversation and good listening skills... Even Rogan makes the interrupting thing.. it happens. Good luck!

Gena and TJ have a great chemistry, they have had (so far) fantastic guests and really touch on some relatable topics. I love listening to their banter and enjoy the completely unfiltered glimpse into their lives and friendship. As someone who knew Gena as a Huffington Post author, I’m so glad that she’s brought her humor and wit to this conversational podcast- you totally feel like you’re in the room with these guys! Really loved this episode!! Jennie’s insight into the world of online dating, were amazing and hilarious. Listening made me feel like I was just sitting at a bar with three friends having a conversation. Really great stuff and you need to bring Jennie back on again!

I listened to all the episodes. The first one was funny, but as the time goes on, the two hosts interrupt their guests to tell their own stories. It becomes very insular and you can tell the guests are annoyed they can’t finish their own stories. TJ loves to share his dating history and comes off as such a cocky jerk that I wouldn’t let any of my friends date. I just can’t see this podcast going anywhere. It’s painful to listen to with the inside jokes, constant diarrhea talk etc.

I love a smart, witty podcast! Add in a couple of kickass hosts..and you’ve got yourself a keeper! And the topic is interesting and relevant which holds my attention, too. Well done, y’all! Can’t wait for the next episodes.

Nothing is forced or contrived, they are real people who deal with the same issues as the rest of us, but with very refreshing perspectives.
