Quick update from the Barrio and random ass book of the week.

We talked generally about life in part one and got somewhat pointed at my favorite topic the second amendment toward the end. Still looking to finish this talk up later so more to come good people!

Got back together with Deon from the fo’csle chat podcast and talked a bit about the world these days. Two parter!

I remedy my screw up of last weeks book of the week, talk fieldcraft skills, gardening, and being a responsibly armed first responder looking out for your own safety. Please give a listen and let me know how problematic my views are! Also, the cover art is an image of my great uncle Arden Earl who stormed the beaches at Normandy as a mortar crew member, was wounded in action playing “hot potato” with a German mortar crew. A game in which the opposing sides attempt to range and kill each other first. Arden’s team won twice but he was wounded and recycled to England twice and put right back on the front both times. Happy Memorial Day to all and thank you for your service.

Side bar here folks. I messed up the title of the book of the week. It was Jonathan Zimmerman “Free speech and why you should give a damn.” Rogan episode #1643. All the other details were correct, just messed up the most important ones!
