Good podcast even tho the fun gets lost when the guys pick apart every detail that they feel isn’t progressive, socially acceptable/appropriate. But that’s their choice but besides that good takes

Brandon and Justin have become my weekly go-to to get a heads up on the new releases in theaters with the bonus reviews for older films as well. Highly recommend this podcast, if not for the hosts, but for the occasional Idris Elba guest cameo.

Just discover these guys after hearing Brandon on Doug Loves Movies. They are a breath of fresh air in a crowd of movie reviewers. Love the fun angles and personal stories they bring. O and also, they are F-ing funny!

These dudes are out of their minds!

When singing along to the theme song, it may be tempting to use the same words as Justin in his angelic rendition of a beloved classic song. Please fight that temptation! I’m not saying I learned the hard way but I am saying I hope you don’t. If you’re set on being provocative, “ninjas” will get the job done and I assure you your friends who season their food will judge you whether or not they choose to give you feedback on your diction. I feel like Justin approves of the word “diction” there. I tried saying fellas once and it was OK but it felt anachronistic and corny but then again Brandon is a little corny so maybe that’s a winner. “We’re two dudes and we’re spoiling movies” reads well, but it’s got an extra syllable and I already struggle just clapping on twos much less syncopating so if any fellow white folx have better sing-along lyrics I would appreciate hearing them. But seriously, I love Brandon, Justin, (and Tati!!!) for their hilarious and insightful perspectives. Best movie review podcast out there! My only regret is they’re gonna be famous soon and this will hit the back burner eventually but that’s a trade-off I’m willing to accept. Thanks for the laughs and thank you for being a friend!

I love movies and I am a big fan of movie podcast. I have tried to listen to a few episodes of this podcast but I can’t find them entertaining due to the complete lack of planning and how many details about the plots, characters and locations these hosts get so wrong. it’s not a podcast as much as it is some guys recording themselves talking about movies with little to no regard given to movie they are talking about.

It’s like listening to friends review movies how i would talk with my friend. Listen all day, everyday. Just because I share a last name with Brandon, this is not a family interview...

I’ve listened to a couple episodes. I discovered them because I recently rewatched Belly after over a decade of not watching, thinking, whatever about this movie. I saw it on the brown sugar channel after watching Friday Foster. Wanted to take a trip down memory lane. I had so much hate for that movie, I couldn’t comprehend how I ever thought it was a good movie, I had to find someone who agreed. Hence medium popcorn. I didn’t off the bat know how they’d feel, but listening garnered much laughs and agreement from me. The episodes I’ve heard are insightful enough. No shade. I def skip the into tho.

Brandon and Justin are hilarious. It's true. They also put on a fantastic movie podcast that covers, in remarkably detail, such a range of material. Their latest episode (w/ guest) on all the Batmans (and the character's future) was fantastic to listen to. I found myself nodding a whole lot as someone who grew up with the Burton films. And if I'm nodding and saying "oh yes" out loud, that usually means I think that show is really darn good. So click that subscribe button. Listen to this brilliant show. You won't regret it.

I consider myself a connoisseur of funny movie podcasts, and this one is one of the best, even if it’s a little less known. Consistently funny hosts keep me coming back. I’m also writing this review to beg the guys to talk about “Two can play that game”. It’s not an exaggeration to say that if you guys discuss that movie, it would put a button on my entire childhood. There are so many good reasons to talk about it, but to highlight just a few, it’s an incredible black movie with all the usual actors - Taye diggs (I think), vivica, Anthony Edwards, Gabrielle Union- playing super broad roles. Please, please, do this.

This is the only podcast that I am Patreon to because I cannot get enough and that’s saying something because I’m cheap af. Every single episode is hilarious and worth repeat listens. I drove from NC to MD with my mother and we were dying laughing at this podcast so much it was a hazard to my driving during The Last Holiday’s “ Queen Latifah Kool Aid dress” reference that Justin made. Just recently discovered this podcast and I must say, I haven’t been able to put down the AirPods. Brandon and Justin have great chemistry, off the cuff banter and I’ve laughed and been entertained at every episode. Signing up for the Patreon was definitely a smart move. Been diving in the archives to listen to the past shows to get current. This is one of the greatest movie review podcasts. Being able to breakdown a movie an a comedic way makes you keep listening and wanting to know if these movies are really that bad OR remembering how bad they are because you sat through them. Hey Branden and Justin, I love the podcast you guys crack me up every week with a funny take on a movie that most people love specially the old ones. I can say sometimes you guys are very hard On the older movies, you tend to grade them on today’s standards of movie and storytelling even when the movie is 20 years old. Either way it’s funny. I love all of your episodes except for the episode with queen and J. I know their podcast is about changing status quo of how people operate in our society when it comes to race and class and sex but they took every Opportunity to jump on their soapbox about a 30-year-old movie. Keep that on your podcast. Sometimes we don’t need all that, tell them its ok to laugh. Thats why i tune in every week. That weeks episode was boring😴. Lighten up ladies!! Lastly.
