Long time listener overdue for a review of one of my favorite podcasts. Really enjoy listening to Ryan Singer’s interviews with his guests. He truly is one of the best interviewers out there. He possess the ability to hold space for his guests, really listens to them, and gives thoughtful and insightful responses while managing to keep the conversation moving forward in an interesting way. Not to mention, it’s clear just by listening to him, that he’s a top notch guy and gentleman all around.

I tried listening to the episode “Searching for Meaning & Connectivity - 3rd Ear Bonus 272” but it was simply terrible. The host’s inability to hold a focused line of thinking combined with his monotonous tone made this podcast painful to listen to. On top of that, he explained every little thing that could be inferred by the audience which contributed to more wasted time without adding to the content. This felt as if he used his stage material but eliminated all tone shifts and uploaded it to a medium where we can’t see his body language. It would most likely work on stage with a proper performance, but as a podcast this is a 0/10 Maybe I just caught a bad episode, but I can’t waste another minute on this.

This my favorite podcast- it’s like chilling with an interesting funny friend. However, I can’t say I love the podcast anymore due to the LOUD OBNOXIOUS commercials that now interrupt the podcast. I support podcasters having commercials and listen to other podcasts where they don’t significantly detract from the show. But in this case it’s like your chilling with a friend and suddenly some idiot comes up behind you and starts screaming gibberish at you. Ryan is such a nice guy I couldn’t bring myself to reduce the rating - JUST PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE TURN DOWN THE VOLUME OF THE HORRIBLE OBNOXIOUS ADS!!!!!!!!

Maybe I chose the wrong episode to begin with but holy mother of god this guy’s voice was about to put me to sleep. He speaks S L O W L Y and in an incredibly monotonous way. Also, 8 minutes into a 40 minute show (that’s 20% of the show) was spent on housekeeping. I understand if you’re a veteran listener of a podcast you may enjoy every part of it, even the bookkeeping. However, I just don’t see how with this one. Boring boring boring. I’m bummed because, honestly, the host seems to be knowledgeable in some really cool stuff. Too bad he can’t seem to muster any semblance of excitement in his tone. It’s a no for me. But to each their own I suppose. Also, for real, I might try this at night. I often put on a podcast to sleep but I’m too interested or engaged on the content to fall asleep. This may actually work.

So 15 minutes ,into a 29 minute episode, on whether a paranormal is location or person-based, and Ryan was still promoting a show in Ohio for the fall. Perhaps this was a one off , but it wasn’t a great introduction to someone like me who saw the content and thought it would be an interesting episode. Self-promotion is a part of every kind of artistry; from the material arts with painting and drawing and all the way through the writer and over to the esoteric artist. But to eat up hakf of a paranormal podcast episode (and, truly it could’ve kept going because I turned it off at 15 minutes, on promoting a show that is 1400 miles away from my location and five months away from all of us, just turned me off. There can’t be a whole lot of content hiding behind such a laborious promotion.

So funny, so smart, AND he’s a straight white male comedian who doesn’t disparage women. Woot.

For the love of God please back up from the mic it sounds like the microphone is inside your mouth

Love the new Oscar Creston episode. His enthusiasm and genuine nature pulls you in and the story is intriguing.

Thought their stories were the only thing wayout there until they’ve started showing their naked trumpy politics...

I don’t enjoy hearing about “political” or “social” viewpoints (some I agree with, some I do not) in a podcast that is themed “paranormal”. I listen to paranormal podcasts to escape this so called reality. Ryan,you are obviously extremely intelligent and, as you know, funny. I can’t think of another podcast that made me laugh hysterically or smile to myself all day about something you said. Please stick to paranormal or make a different podcast for that.

Thank you so much for this very personal and interesting take on the issues. It’s so refreshing to hear an actively politically left host who relates politics to the paranormal and conspiratorial. Thanks so much! So vital to the conversation right now as the far right tries to hijack the spiritual/alt narrative.

Probably one of the most dedicated podcasters out there, constantly releases new content. Ryan is funny, interesting, positive and very open minded. Covers a vast array of paranormal topics. The 3rd ear bonus episodes are my favorites. He has some interesting insight. Give it a listen if you’d like a different approach to the subject and other topics.

I tried listening to this but he insisted on bashing non liberals. Pointing out extremes of the other side without seeing the extremes of your own side is the sign of an imbecile

I discovered this podcast because of my love for everything paranormal, supernatural, intuitive... what have you. I found myself laughing a lot and listening to more episodes. Now, I’m recommending it to friends. Hilarious, weird, intelligent, and fascinating. Keep it coming!

I am the kind of person that will happily listen to you tell me about your dreams, even if you’re not a great storyteller. So it is always a joyful time for me while listening to comedian and paranormal investigator, Ryan Singer, share his conversations with guests, the research he’s done on specific topics, his personal experiences, and just the thoughts he is having in a stream of consciousness speaking into a microphone. I also find it lovely that there are people out there like Singer who are able to have their head in the clouds, to be open and enthusiastic, while are also grounded, can be critical and discerning. I thoroughly appreciate having Singer’s presence in my life, and I hope the podcast continues as long as it can.

Listening to your podcast has kept me sane during this pandemic crap. Like you said, it’s more fun to believe. Certainly more fun than watching the news right now and freaking out. Thank you for keeping on keeping on. 💛👹👽👾

Found this via Angela through This Is Where The Magick Happens and I love it (and Ryan!). He has so many great guests on, researches stuff that’s too heady for most of us to sit down with, and has such a good soul. He takes such an honest and informed approach to everything, all while convincing us that Magick and the paranormal are real.🌟❤️💥

This is a great podcast for anyone who is interested in the paranormal, supernatural, and the woo. Ryan’s work as a comedian seems to have made him into an entertaining conversationalist. He is well-spoken, engaging, and asks interesting questions. He’s talked to wide range of people including skeptics, believers, non-believers, witches, mediums, paranormal investigators, and so on. I highly recommend the mindcast to anyone who enjoys these sort of topics.

This pod is not only the BEST but also truly a place of radical acceptance, love, and wisdom with a perfect little comedy cherry on top :)

Woke but not :/ Sad to let go, but Singer you drag out your point and besides that mild annoyance, no longer speaks cutting edge info/truth. Yes, you speak with love, and I respect that always. I’m so happy to have found this podcast and then This is where the Magick happens AND now Two Psychicks 💕 I love all these people and their chemistry. These podcasts are some of the few I actually enjoy just listening to people go on tangents about so many things lol. Not sure how you’re able to make time for all the podcasts and your comedy career but I am so happy you do- Thank you for it all! 🤩

I listen to quite a few podcasts, but always find myself looking forward to this one! Ryan seems like such a kind and genuine person, and has a very soothing voice. Listening to this actually helped me a lot during a tough period of my life. He does his research very well on very interesting paranormal topics. He is also hilarious! I have many good belly-laughs while listening. I love it!!

This podcast is for anyone even remotely interested in the paranormal/metaphysical! Ryan is very “down to earth” in his approach to the surreal—and very entertaining. The guests all bring something wonderful and unique to the table. Not to mention, there’s tons of episodes so you’ll have loads to binge listen to! And he’s right, it IS more fun to believe.

Soooo I've listened to the Mindcast for a couple years. Originally a fan of Ryan's comedy (props to Bob & Tom), and now listening to his other podcast (Where the Magick Happens - also insanely interesting and entertaining). Aside from the shapeshifter episode, I can already feel that the Sasquatch experience ep is going to stick with me. Intriguing, creepy, terrifying, and then some. And that's just one episode. You're in for a treat with this podcast. It really is more fun to believe, and Ryan. Gets. It.

I had a rule. No pod casts. I somehow found them dull and jarring at the same time. I bent my rule because Ryan is hilarious and I gave this podcast a chance. Well, I blame Ryan and his fantastic, fun-loving interviews and unbeatable enthusiasm for turning me into a paranormal podcast lover! He is open and respectful to all his guests and holds interesting and informative conversations with all kinds of delightful people. Engaging ,funny, scary!!! Lots of good vibes coming out of this show!

I love this guy’s voice and his way with language. There’s a whole bunch more I could say but I’m really tired. And now so long after writing this review I forgot about it and thought I’d better give this guy a 5-star. So here’s to long lasting awesomeness

The Paranormal world’s truest reality is smothered in history, and gives peeks into the future. This host seems to display more concerns in the current Defacto political atmosphere than research the authority’s of humankind’s roll in our existence. Yes, politically charged bias here, disguised as a paranormal exploration.

This podcast has been a real mind opener! Ryan is super hilarious and genuine. I’ve had such a blast going down the various rabbit holes this has podcast has introduced. It’s just the right balance of interesting without scaring the crap out of me. Thanks Ryan! 😆🤗🥰

I have been listening for years and I now look forwards to Friday’s for the release of new episodes! This podcast is fun, interesting, and magical. Ryan is amazing and I so enjoy the guests! I recommend this podcast to anyone who loves the woo, mystical and exciting!

Ryan is such a joy to listen to since he is so open to exploring the paranormal, abnormal, mystic, and magical. His earnest search for understanding and his fun guests make for an engaging and engrossing time! I love the 3rd Ear bonuses too!

I won’t lie I was a skeptic when I first started listening to this podcast 1 year ago, but have found that the guests Ryan Singer has in the pod keep me asking more questions rather than denying existence of the paranormal. Tinfoil hat brought me hear. Good episode until you talk about stuff that you won’t share with your listeners. If you won’t share the stuff your talking about don’t even bring it up or edit everything out. Other than that I enjoyed it. I wish she would be more vocal about her situation and experiences she could really help other people with similar experiences. She needs to embrace her powers and not hide them. I wish I could talk with her and get to know her more but it seems like she doesn’t want to talk about it because she is ashamed of it which is sad because she seems very special. Anyways thanks for the episode. Not sure if I’ll keep listening but I’m glad I caught this episode.

Fun to listen to. Funny. Smart. 90% of guests have great points view! Highly recommended.
