The Holy Spirit desires to lead believers daily through His witness in our spirit, not through dramatic supernatural experiences. As three-part beings consisting of spirit, soul, and body, Christians must learn to discern the Spirit's gentle knowing within their spirit rather than relying on external voices. Many struggle to hear God's voice because their souls are clogged with worldly concerns and noise. Developing sensitivity to the Spirit's witness requires reverence, recognition, and response. The witness often comes as an inner sense of rightness or direction, preparing us for what lies ahead. True spiritual maturity means moving beyond shallow Christianity into deeper waters where we learn to flow with the Spirit's gentle leading.
