Mavs Archives (formerly known as Forgotten Maverick) is a new Mavs history podcast dedicated to celebrating and sharing memories of nearly 40 years of Mavs basketball. Whether it’s hearing directly from former players or just reminiscing with guests about their own Mavs memories, this podcast offers MFFLs a combination of firsthand recollections of moments throughout franchise history and plenty of nostalgia for all.

Former Maverick Randell Jackson joins us for this episode (recorded in November 2021) After a year with the Washington Wizards, Jackson played one game for the Mavs before an untimely, and ultimately significant injury ended his NBA career. Mavs legend Devin Harris joins us for this episode. One of only two players to suit up for the Mavs for three different stints, Devin Harris electrified Mavs fans as a young player, before becoming one of the Mavs most steady and reliable playmakers in his later years. In this conversation, Devin looks back on his time in Dallas fondly from his time as a young NBA player, to his eventual returns to Dallas both in 2013 and 2018. Terry Davis (1991-96)

Former Maverick Charlie Villanueva joins "Mavs Archives" for this episode. A 2004 NCAA Champion with the UConn Huskies, Charlie enjoyed an 11 year NBA career with the Raptors, Bucks, Pistons, and Mavericks. In this episode, Charlie discusses his recruitment process to UConn, getting traded after a successful rookie season in Toronto, and of course, his time with the Mavericks. Charlie looks back on coming to the Mavs on a non-guaranteed deal, and ultimately making the team and becoming an important rotation player for 2 seasons. Rolando Blackman (1981-1992)
Maverick legend Rolando Blackman joins us for this episode. One of three players to have his number retired in Maverick history, Ro takes us back to his childhood in NYC discovering the game of basketball, shares some memories of his high school and collegiate career, and reminisces on his time with the Mavericks.
