Dan previously studied biomedical sciences at the University of York before taking a year out before medicine to work in a neurological care home. He is now a second-year GEM student at the University of Nottingham!  

We chat about bringing key patient communication skills to the course, being familiar with the language of science, having strict medicine-free time and Dan's Youtube channel helping med applicants!
