This spotlight is with AJ, who is a second-year medical student at the University of Bristol.
AJ started out as a professional footballer, before working hard over a number of years in the pursuit of studying medicine. His journey includes studying an undergrad science degree, a masters in neuroscience, working as a medical secretary at Great Ormond Street and four applications to med school.
