Married Millennials podcast will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish I could remember the exact episode, but it was the one where Joy referenced a quote I had never heard before. She said “if you always try to convince a fish to climb a tree, it may never know it can swim.” This really spoke life into my situation & inspired me to make a career change. Where I’m so much happier! Their everyday conversations drop so many gems that relates to our everyday lives. Thanks for being so open & honest, it’s truly appreciated.

I love this Podcast! I’ve been listening for about 7months consecutively. I started from the very beginning of the episodes! Its been amazing to see how your platform has grown and I’m not even to hear 2018 yet! Joy and Justin are two dynamic and different personalities and it’s so easy to relate to both of you! I love binge listening to your Podcast throughout the day, and preferably at the start of the day because it puts me in such a good mood—I know that I’ll learn something, relate to something, or just have something brought full circle that I never thought of before! You guys are amazing and I’m excited to follow your journey through this Podcast! Many, many blessings to you.

I used to LOVE this podcast but have had a hard time getting through a full episode lately...anyone else have this issue? Seems like just listening to a couple bicker for an hour. I USED to really appreciate their banter but Justin has gotten too overbearing and full of himself as of late. I mentioned this to my partner today and he said he’s been feeling the same way. Take a step back and hear yourselves—we don’t want to hear constant bickering! It honestly gets annoying. I’m sad too, because this used to be my favorite podcast every week. Will keep giving y’all a chance for a while to see if anything changes for the better.

Blessed in knowing them in person and hearing them on the podcast is so dope! Hearing how they are so authentic into bringing us as listeners into their world is so enjoyable. The great thing about being a listener, you can listen to them anywhere. While you drive, at the gym, and I’ve now started listening to them as I work just to escape. My co workers have even started listening because I be dying at my desk 😂 and speaking aloud (as quiet as I can) and they were curious what I was listening to. Thank you Justin and Joy for keeping me and Johnathan inspired, opening up, being honest, staying educated and in the know of pop culture! Highly recommended and love you guys! 💞

As soon as I get a notification that I have a new episode of Married Millennials waiting, I get so excited! I love listening to Justin and Joy dish about life and love. I know it’s meant to be a relationship podcast, but I really feel like anyone, whether in or out of love, can and would enjoy this! I always feel like I’m listening to my friends and having a conversation with them. Sometimes I respond to the questions they pose to the listener out loud bc it feels like we are all in the same room just chillin together. I also get extremely valuable life advice and it makes me ask questions of myself that help me grow. I can truly say I have grown as a person since listening to this podcast bc of the beautiful influence Justin and Joy have had on me. MUST LISTEN!

I just love this podcast. This is actually the first podcast I started listening to. I first found out about this podcast towards the end of 2017 through a Blavity post on Instagram. At the time, I was in my last year of college getting serious with my now man, so I thought I’d see what this cute looking black couple had to say. Fast forward to now and I have no regrets after subscribing to this podcast. Not only do they give great relationship advice directly or through their generous vulnerability, they also keep me thinking about bettering myself & about current events. They’ve kept me company while traveling, working out, and commuting. I started with episode one and have finally reached the January 2018 episodes so I’m chugging along trying to catch up. Joy and Justin’s authenticity makes this show relatable for so many people and I am HOOKED! It’s not just about love, but about life and having conversations that all of us millennials are thinking and talking about. I can honestly say that my relationship has become healthier after I started listening. Their stories and experiences offer valuable wisdom, and I’ve been able to take so much and apply it into my own relationship. Not only has my relationship become healthier, but they have me thinking about my finances in a different and smarter way and also deepening my mind + body wellness practices as well! They are AMAZING. The couple is also hilarious and super entertaining. Their content is always on point and relevant. And lastly, the variety of guests they’ve brought onto the show is phenomenal. How do they know the dopest of the dope people?! I just can’t stop telling people about this show! So don’t waste your time, do yourself a favor and HIT PLAY! You’ll be so glad you did!

The Love Jays definitely provide a new and vibrant perspective on a variety of topics. Decided to stop new episodes and actually binge listen from the BEGINNING. I even “keep the conversation going” by tweeting them as I go through and even though it’s old content they still always reply! I love it!! Coming up to episode 50 and still in love. Best part of my morning and I have NO idea what I’m going to do when it’s only once a week!!

I'm listening to episode 117 and it feels like a complete blessing to me! I've recently fallen into a cycle of negative thinking after having a disappointment and having this episode come to me as I am at my lowest point gives me hope. Great balance of life/well being info with financial/career info.

This podcast has been a real blessing for me. Not to get too deep into it but I’ve had my world rocked by some of the people that are suppose to always be there for you.. and admittedly I carry with me a lot of angst and negative energy all the time. But I’ve always held onto the vision of true love and family. This podcast has shown me that while I’m probably a huge piece in why my relationships go south; I’m not crazy in the beliefs and values I hold in them. And that while I know I have toxic tendencies lingering from my past experiences not being able to trust people; I now know of ways to direct those emotions or voice them in a way that’s actually received. Not only that but you both inspire me to do and be better.

Some of my fondest college memories involve late night conversations with Justin & Joy on matters of love, sex, race, and life as they knew it. They kept it real & could enrapture an audience then, and continue to do so with this iteration of Love Jays, Married Millennials, now. This podcast is insightful & entertaining for everyone: young/old, married/single/it’s complicated, hetero/LGBTQ, etc. If you’re sleeping on Married Millennials, you need to get it together and subscribe ASAP.

I started listening on March 10th and have listened to ALL 108 episodes today during work finally!! My best friend sent me Ep. 1 and told me that “Joy” reminded her of myself. I am also a black millennial college grad woman named Joy, lol. PSA: All Black Women named Joy need as much love as they can get! In the last few weeks, I have found myself describing to my girlfriend and friends about things that have been discussed on the show and telling them to subscribe. The podcast also felt like a time capsule of the last couple of years of what us in America has gone through and each time a tragedy occurred, I had to relive how I felt when I first heard the news and it hurt. Both of you have captured life events in such a fantastic way that allowed thought, intelligent conversation and hopefulness for the future that made me feel hopeful too. I waited until I caught up to review so that I had a full picture of how you both were when you started and how you are currently. I’m sorry Justin for not writing earlier, it felt like you kept calling me out whenever you would ask! Everyone needs to be subscribed to this podcast and listen to the gems that this beautiful couple give weekly! Purpose Over Profit all day and I will be getting the credit card course and studying it! It is a completely reasonable and I was willing to spend $50 on it anyways, so it almost feels like you’re giving away valuable information for free! I am recently engaged, 26 almost 27. I got on the podcast app searching for an advice podcast on being married, “adulting”, and how to be the best version of myself. This was one of the first ones that came up. I am so so happy I have found Married Millennials. My fiancé and I have both enjoyed listening to Joy and Justin drop major truth bombs on life, marriage, and self care. I love that I am not alone in a lot of things I find myself second guessing in my life. Thank you joy and Justin for allowing my fiancé and I to learn that we are doing just fine and giving us some great advice to make ourselves better, and our relationship better. Can’t wait to sit down and write our marriage mission statement!

The Love Jays are the most entertaining married couple I have witness on any podcasts channel today 🙌🏾 They are so live and full of energy i love it. Not only are they fun to listen to but they give out great information on not just marriage but everyday life. I love forward to listening to them go back and forth on various topics in today’s world. Me and my wife get great gems on many episodes that we can apply in our lives today. Highly recommend it!

This podcast has something for everybody but it definitely helps that I am a married millenial! The more that I listen to it, the more I realize that my wife and I are not the only ones. Your relationship sounds like a clone of mine. The podcast is hilarious, insightful and genuine which is hard to find....especially nowadays. I initially listened to an episode because I was looking for something new and eventually went back to episode 1 and listened to ALL of them. Eventually the "write a review" shade was SO strong that I had no choice but to drop one. I wish you both unlimited happiness and we need to make a trip to LA to attend one of these Brunch 2 Bomb events and hopefully meet you both.

I listened to y'all in the car, when I was in the shower, while I did my hair, when I was at work... like I'm such a fan! I’m a 23 year old single woman, but I do want to get married some day. I love the topics that they talk about. I just found this podcast a month or so ago and have been loving it ever since. I love love. And it just seems like they are genuinely happy.

I'm a millennial getting married in a couple months, and I love listening to such an honest couple who seem to be doing it right! The support you guys have for each other and the inspiration you have for your listeners is 🔥🔥 keep it up!

First thing you should know going into this podcast is that it is very loosely structured. When I first started listening that kind of threw me but four episodes later, I’m into it. It’s basically just two people having a conversation, lots of anecdotes and stuff. I really like the variety of topics they cover, they are both very funny and interesting. I like listening to them talk about arguments they’ve had or how they fight bc it reminds me of how my husband and I fight and it’s just very relatable. So happy I found this one!

Married Millennials have the conversations that I want to have with my friends but they think I’m being too open and annoying LOL. I love love and I love couples who are open about EVERY aspect of marriages. It’s inspiring for me to listen to. I’m still trying to convince my husband to start listening...but baby steps. We’ll get there. Keep being dope, y’all!

So inspiring to hear a podcast about being young, married, black and thriving despite living in a world in which being in any type of relationship is considered “boring”, “stupid” etc. and not committing to anything or anyone is the norm. I stumbled onto Married Millennials by accident and I am so glad I did. From poignant thoughts on today’s political climate to relationship advice Joy and Justin know how to hold an audience. As a listener who is new to the podcast and their story I have really enjoyed hearing their perspectives on marriage, celibacy, black culture, and so much more. I know when I tune in that I can expect honest discussion and a fresh perspective. Sometimes when you listen to podcasts it can feel like they are played to an audience with a specific agenda in mind. I don’t hear that from Joy or Justin. This podcast is out to be a fun and interesting experience for the listener and I highly recommend it whether you are single, married, in a committed relationship, still looking, or otherwise. There is something for everyone here. If you are willing to be open and listen to someone with strong convictions then I highly recommend this show.
