My wife and I were newly married and things got real after our son was born… We fought and argued and eventually divorced and I finally came to my end and gave everything to God … I started reading the Bible to find out what God had to say about marriage and I found this podcast and your seminars on YouTube …. We remarried and are living for God and this is the teaching I needed to hear ….

Jimmy goes back to the simple principles of the Bible and shows us how to apply them now. I regularly recommend this podcast to friends and family. A godly grandmother, a few months ago, recommended I listen to Jimmy and Karen. Grandma listened to them for many years. I am married for 30 years and have been a Christian for 20 years.

I’m single but this has helped me prepare for marriage and helped me realize things I have to work on before getting married!!!

I was introduced to Marriage on the Rock series over 15 years ago and I can honestly say that it helped transform my marriage. Jimmy and Karen are so intuitive about relationships and the true needs of men and women as they maneuver through marriage. I love their teachings so much that we listened with our teenage son and daughter, as well, to help them in their future marriages. The way Jimmy shares is so unique and funny that, not only were attentive, but often laughed along with Jimmy. Now, as I continue to utilize the tools for marriage that I learned all those years ago, so do my children in their own marriages. What a beautiful way to change the world by strengthening marriages and families.

I’m listening to all the do marriage podcast in an effort to learn as much as possible on how to be the husband my ex wife deserves. I’m praying every day for another chance I believe waiting is what I’m supposed to do so I’m learning while I wait. Thank you Xo marriage I wish I found these a long time ago.

Our marriage had become like many ... lifeless and mechanical. After 25 years, 3 kids and ministry work we had left each other emotionally. I had made so many mistakes the message from our enemy was sounding logical, “it’s to late, time to move on”. I decided I want to live an example for our children. I began listening a few months ago and it (along with other helps) has resurrected our marriage. We just renewed our vows and have regained intimacy and commitment. Sure it’s not always easy but keeping the goal top of mind helps to quite the voices that attempt to separate us. Jimmy is gifted to teach the principles that make marriage into the image of God. The information is given in very digestible ways with tasteful humor mixed in. What a gift for marriages couples. We thank God for you all at XO.

When my wife and I got married our church has marriage counselor but one of the requirements was to listen to Jimmy Evans marriage on the rock. However, as a listener some of the content or clips of it seem to be a repeat which can be disappointing. Either way, 5 stars because it’s always good to rehear good things! We’ve been married 25 years and I have yet to find anyone else with the wisdom and knowledge Jimmy and Karen have. Usually, a teacher on marriage will list off things wives find most important and they aren’t even in my top five, but his list of top 5 for husbands and wives are pretty much spot on for us. My husband and I tend to be opposite the stereotype! It’s encouraging to hear their stories of failing and how they persevered through to get to a great marriage. Great wisdom for bad marriages, ok marriages, good marriages and beyond. Life is a constant learning process and marriage should be no different.

The teach from the Marriage Today materials at my church - the Marriage On The Rock Series. The topics in each session are great for group conversation, and I have benefited from hearing them discussed and participating in group sessions.

I listened to the “New Bloodline sermon and it is false doctrine, preaching under Prosperity Gospel. I’m a fairly new listener to this podcast and was drawn to it because I love listening to Dave&Ashley Willis who are apart of Marriage Today. The “New Bloodline” sermon talks about breaking the “family curse” because we are under the blood of Jesus as believers and He breaks the curse. Yes, God is all powerful! Yes, He can heal! But just because you believe in Him does not mean you are not susceptible to family healthy history and traits. God is Good! And He can and will use anything and everything for His glory! Not our glory but His glory! We can’t not fully comprehend His glory but know that glory belongs to Him! A family line of cancer does not just stop because you believe in Jesus, although He has power to do so. Belief in Jesus means you are saved from eternal damnation and are excepted into His glorious presence for all eternity.

I am currently single, and I LOVE listening to the marriage today podcast! There is so much great info, and I know it’s preparing me for a great marriage one day! When it comes to showing a man respect, is that different in the dating stage? If so, how? If you’re saved and he’s not how do you go about trying to help him get saved?
