Parallel journeys
Thank you for all you share. So similar to what my husband and I have gone thru. Keep discovering and evolving together, seasons change on earth and in marriage and making it thru together makes the great seasons amazing and the tough seasons worth it.

Relatable, inspiring, entertaining
I’m so grateful to have found this podcast when they were just starting out. To see them grow as a couple, as people, and as podcasters has been an amazing experience. Part of the allure is that they are real people doing the work both as individuals and as a couple and therefore they are so down to earth and relatable. Thank you both for challenging the status quo, each other, yourselves and us. Love love love. And Danielle, thank you for inspiring me to live my best life, unapologetically, as one should with fun and pleasure and all the things women are taught to quiet over the years.

Real
I live listening to Danielle and Adam share their life and struggles in a real and vulnerable way! As a fellow mom with a dirty mouth I so appreciate Danielle’s ability to give everyone permission to just be themselves and live!

What an amazing podcast!!!
Randomly came across this podcast and how relatable it is to me, a mom, a woman and a wife!!! Absolutely recommend!!!

One of my FAVORITE podcasts!
I love listening to Danielle and Adam every week. I find their topics/comments very relatable, as well as unexpected and eye opening. I think about circumstances in my life in a different way because of their comments, suggestions and valuable lessons learned. I especially loved the episode with Danielle’s parents. Learning about life and marriage from from the older generation is priceless, and often overlooked or impossible based on the family dynamic. The episode with Mia was so heartwarming and reminded me how important it is for me to NOT judge my kids. I have strived to react openly and support my kids even more since listening to this episode. I can’t wait to learn from, laugh with, and be entertained by Danielle and Adam in 2024. I am so grateful that I stumbled into Marriage & Martinis as I was trying to learn how to navigate podcasts. I tell everyone to listen. Truly a blessing! 💘💘🍸🍸

A must add to your podcast line up
My hubbs already knows whatever Adam and Danielle discuss, will more than likely make an appearance in our next deep conversation 🤣 I am newer to this community and sooooo happy I found it! It’s refreshing how real and relatable this couple can be. I’m grateful they choose to share their journey with us and help us open up to topics that are sometimes hard to tackle. Their honestly and vulnerability is truly an inspiration. You won’t be disappointed so go ahead and subscribe! 💛

Awesome and Real!!
I love how real you are when you talk about different topics. You have taught me so much as a married woman and you don’t even know how much I appreciate it. I find myself talking with my wife about many of these topics. Thank you!!

Thank you Danielle and Adam!
The most recent episode is, like so many episodes before it, EXACTLY what I needed to hear this morning. I related to so much of what Danielle and Adam said. We are a culture of meeting milestones instead of enjoying where we are in the moment…waiting for the other shoe to drop…working so hard to get your kids and yourselves to a better place and still being anxious once you’re on the other side…I’m writing this review halfway through the episode and am looking forward to finishing it while I drive BACK to my kid’s school to bring the “special family item to share with the class” that she forgot because (1) it’s a goddamn Monday, and (2) we forgot to write ourselves a reminder note and stick it on the dining table last night.

So real and so fun!
I’ve been following and listening since the beginning!!! Danielle and Adam are so real and so fun! Things that happen to and with them are things that happen to all of us! Love the conversations … when Mia was struggling and coming out and D and A were trying to work through it all with her…..it was beautiful, and by far my favorite time. As they worked through everything it made me feel so validated with things in my own life. Keep on going! ❤️❤️❤️

Real Life Podcast-Highly Reccommend
Love the real life nature of this podcast. Adam & Danielle embrace transparency which makes listening so enjoyable. You feel as though you are sitting in a room with them having conversations as friends. Highly recommend for adult-only listening!

Touches on everything, nothing off limits
I love the approach to this podcast. It is fun, while being extremely informative. It helps that the guest are extremley relatable, and willing to discuss anything. You will always be left feeling like you need mroe at the end of every episode. Cannot get enough of this one.

So in love with this couple.
I would love Danielle and Adam to be my best friends. They are so fun and relatable and make me laugh so hard. Plus they make me feel like maybe I’m doing a better job than I give myself credit for. Please do a live tour soon! I need to meet you in person. Thank you for doing this.

I found Adam & Danielle through Instagram. I am completely obsessed with them and feel like our lives are so compatible. It’s refreshing to hear real stories of life - kids are hard, marriage is hard & yes you’ll get through it but woooh! I’ve gone back and listened to old episodes because my only complaint is that it’s weekly. I need more!!

Only pod I care about!
Adam and Danielle are so relatable. So much so they make me want to start a podcast with my husband 😂 I love their no filter approach on all topics. Their date night questions are excellent as well.

My favorite podcast ever!!
This podcast is absolutely amazing. Adam and Danielle are just so real, funny, entertaining and down to earth. They have real life issues like all of us and are open to get down and dirty discussing all of them. They talk about anything and everything in such a candid and honest way. Since discovering them on Unconsciously Coupled they became a fast favorite and I have devoured almost every episode. I count the days until they come on and honestly feel like they are my best friends lol! They are people you would want to hang out with and the topics they discuss are important and informative. They range from discussing family issues to what a mess the world is. I highly suggest this podcast for many reasons, but most of all you will be super entertained and not want it to end. Thanks Adam and Danielle for putting together such an amazing show. I love you guys.

Excellent
I am a long-time consumer of podcasts and this show is one of the best! Adam and Danelle are a real-life east coast couple with three kids. They (obviously) have a ton of chemisty on mic, they are super relatable, honest and funny. I have been listening for about a year and bought the date night questions. I was separated from my husband of 10 years at that time and I was yearning to hear from folks who were living the insanely difficult life of modern marriage (and maybe have some insight on how to navigate it). This podcast has really helped me on the journey of self-discovery and how to communicate and listen openly and intimately with my husband. I have really appreciated Danelle and Adam’s raw and real conversations about difficult topics. I have heard them argue on the podcast and it is so intense and a very honest portrayal of the process of connection. It is messy and complicated and voices raise in frustration and passion. What I also love is that Danelle and Adam work through these conversations and come out on the other side with a closer connection. I am grateful that they put themselves out there so we can feel a little less alone on this messed up planet. Also, (gosh this is already long) I am happy to hear a man discuss emotions, relationships and intimacy. Of course, being in a relationship with Danelle has likely helped him gain these skills! Bravo for an excellent podcast! Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do. Candice

Relatable to everyone
I have been listening to this podcast for a long time and it is my favorite of all the podcasts I subscribe to. However, I felt compelled to write a review after listening to the Finding the Right Fit College episode. Such a great prospective and I don’t even have college age kids…. My immediate reaction was: how do I save this to remember to come back to this in a few years? What I love about this podcast is that a very broad range of issues are covered and I find myself relating to at least one part of every episode (even if I don’t initially think that the episode will be relevant to me or what’s going on in my life). I love starting my week listening to the new episodes.

🥰
What I love most about Danielle and Adam is their openness and honesty with and about one another! To see the love, but also the fact that it’s not always happiness and roses is refreshing. I love my husband, but sometimes UGHHHH!! Also, is it just me, but while I appreciate when they have guests, my favorite episodes are when it’s just the two of them, talking about their everyday lives.

Best podcast ever !
The Marriage & Martinis podcast is a fabulous listen ! It is refreshing to hear honest hard truths being discussed in such venerable ways❤️

So relatable
Danielle and Adam are so funny, real and relatable. I love their banter and how seamlessly they go from joking to getting nitty gritty with topics. Their honesty about their relationship, parenthood, and that they are still figuring out their own identities independent of those 2 things, is spot on. We all have struggles and they normalize these in a society that tends to push us to only portray the highlight reel. So so refreshing, thank you both!

Omg!! I can relate so much to you Danielle!! I was a start at home mom for 11yrs and I felt the same way as you when it came to my husband money. And yes the resentment for not feeling financially valued as a stay at home mom is real! Thank you for bringing light to this.

So relatable!
I look forward to listening to Danielle and Adam each week! Not only are they funny, but they share about experiences we can all relate to. Love it.

Real and Raw
I love this podcast and their ebook date night questions. I highly recommend listening as they have so much to offer.. advice, stories, laughter, solidarity. I am married with 2 kids and any time I am having a hard time I go listen to one of the episodes and I always feel so much better. I can sometimes see things in a different perspective which then helps me approach my marriage problems differently. 5 stars for wholesome and relatable content!

Love them so much
Danielle and Adam are SO relatable, and SO easy to listen to. Their podcasts hit home with me and my husband in so many ways, and the way they present each topic is handled so well - they are organized, well spoken yet funny, informal and conversational.

So Relatable
Just want to say I’ve been listening since the beginning and I love every episode. Danielle is so much fun to listen to and Adam is usually wrong. 😆😆JK They’re both good together and fun to listen to. The whole podcast is very relatable. I learn something new every time I listen and look forward to a new episode every week. Keep up the good work. 💗

I started listening to the podcast about three years ago. I immediately fell in love with it because I was going through similar situations. I love the way the show has evolved over the years and all the content that is covered. Keep it up guys!

The thing I love most about M&M is how real you are. The fact that you drop numerous f bombs makes it that much more real.

Turn offs-Budgeting episode
Me me me me….I can’t stand listening to the fights when Danielle complains about how hard she has it and what Adam is doing wrong. Grow up, a marriage is a partnership and finance/budgeting is a “we” problem not a “me” problem. Just like parenting kids through hard experiences (your summer) - take on the problem together instead of bickering about who does more or less than the other.

A must listen if you are married, about to be married or want to be married someday
I am so grateful for this podcast. The way Danielle and Adam share real life, relatable struggles with honesty, humor and vulnerability has helped me with my own marital struggles. Thank you guys for doing this podcast!

I am so grateful for the honesty of these episodes. Going through a lot of the same issues and just want a win finally for my kid too! Thank you for doing this!

Real talk about real marriage issues
I wish Adam and Danielle lived on the west coast, because I feel like we could be bffs irl. They’re not afraid to tackle hard-hitting marriage (and other) problems and are candid and vulnerable in their discussions. New M&M episodes are the only reason I actually look forward to Mondays. Would highly, highly recommend.

Body Image pt 1&2
I’m new to your podcasts and I must say the first two I listened to really made me think. Why am I struggling to lose 20lbs to reach my goal weight? Will I be happier? No. Will I be more active? Also, no. Will I be healthier? Just had my check up and I’m in excellent health, so no again. I was at my goal weight pre pandemic and life is just as good now as it was then. For me, the secret to my happiness isn’t fitting into those size 10 jeans, it’s been getting active, meeting new people and spending quality time with my husband, and I can do all of that while being 20lbs heavier. Thank you, thank you for such a thought provoking topic.

Marriage and Martinis is such a great podcast.
I’ve been listening to Danielle and Adam for about 2.5 years. I love to listen to them while I get my house or yard work done. I find that I can relate to them and the sound of their voices is comforting. I feel like they are friends and sometimes I want to talk right back to them 😀

Great Recommendation from my bestie
I am not married and I don’t drink, so I probably wouldn’t have chosen this podcast. However, my bestie sent me the “Letting herself girl” episode and I, of course, LOVED it and have been listening ever since! Thank you for your raw honesty!

What a relief!
Listening to your podcast, especially the last few episodes, has been eye opening because now I know we are all going through the same stuff in life! Thank you for putting yourself out there for all of us to learn from.

Love it!
Okay, I’m not a podcast person but I HAD to listen to the “letting herself go” episode and have since become hooked on listening to Danielle and Adam! They are so honest, raw, genuine and RELATABLE! So glad I found this podcast. Literally the only one I listen to!

So real
I applaud the vulnerability and realness in this podcast. I recently listened to the body image episode and found it to be so relatable. I loved that the follow up conversation between husband and wife was done in real time and not overly pre-planned, so it’s capturing everyone’s honest reactions. It represents what real couples experience which is not always easy but I think this was a great model of how to have these conversations. Great job!!

Is she…letting herself go?
This episode. Holy wow. Danielle, I cannot thank you enough for doing this. I have struggled with how I view my weight and body image for years. I have a physical disability, which causes my muscles to deteriorate without ever building back up. And so, any kind of physical exercise is out of the question. So how do I control my weight? By extremely limiting my calorie intake (basically starving myself), which yes I have done for longer than I like to think about. When you said the words, “you can rest now” I lost it. Bawling like a baby, had to pull the car over, lost it. Because like you, I have beaten this body into the ground. A body that has defied all odds and achieved things all my doctors and specialists said it never would, in spite of its limitations. THANK YOU for reminding me how amazing this body is and that we need to love, respect, and thank ourselves. I will be sharing with ALL my girlfriends! Side note: the break you take after the vulnerable moment…the ad is Adam cheerfully talking about how to eat healthier. It was a bit jarring in that moment of vulnerability (and I kind of wanted to strangle him even though I usually love him lol). Doesn’t change my rating for this episode but may want to rethink that ad.
