Mark Call takes a look back at some of the major news stories, and scams, of the week ending 15 August, 2026. After being lied to about SO much for SO long, it's amazing to see what is finally seeping out.  But it's only just begun.

Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa in this week's Torah midrash suggests that Parsha 'Re'eh' (Deuteronomy 11:26-16:17) is unique. Not that it covers territory that the Torah hasn't addressed before, one way or another. But that this time it is far more…blunt.And even the title is straightforward. "Re'eh," can be translated 'behold.' Or just plain, "See!" As if what He was saying could be missed.The Erev Shabbat reading is clear and unequivocal.  But perhaps why this section of Scripture is so often ignored, or even derided.  To deal with this honestly is to ruffle feathers.  But it's past time.But that's not really the problem. It's not that the message is even remotely ambiguous. In fact, it's even beyond "self-explanatory."The problem is that -- for those that most need to "see," it's beyond uncomfortable. It is threatening. Which is perhaps why, Mark suggests, the 'whore church' that should take it to heart, evidently prefers to deny it, ignore it, and, most tellingly, just lie about it.This is thus a very "uncomfortable" portion, because it is also a matter of life and death.And 'curses' that are already very clearly in play.The three elements that make up the heart of the lesson are just plain damning."Re'eh: The UN-holy trinity of things Removed and Replaced -- that explains EVERYTHING!"

 Host Mark Call takes a look back at some of the major news stories of the week ending 8 August, 2026. Again, there is certainly no shortage of evidence that the Rule of Law has been ALMOST dead and buried.  But it's the OTHER evidence that some folks are finally getting sick and tired of - and are even willing to do something -- about what has been going on for so long that should be the center of attention.  

The 'news' this week seems to have - at least in host Mark Call's understanding - crossed a threshold.  It's been a long time coming.  So it's going to be a 'different flavor' of show than usual.  It has to be.For all of our lives, just about every important major event has been, in one way or another, a lie.From the JFK assassination, to Waco, the OKC bombing, 911, and the COVID plandemic.  Thirty years ago this month, hundreds of eyewitnesses on Long Island saw TWA flight 800 shot out of the sky, and the official response was not only a unbelievable, but a CIA cartoon that demonstrated the laws of physics and aerodynamics are subject to distortion when there is an agenda to push.  Even George Floyd was a lie, just like the Charlie Kirk shooter patsy.Even the biggest landslide in history only stemmed the tide briefly.  And, still,<strong>"Their Lips Have NEVER STOPPED Moving!"</strong>Why?And, most importantly, what does that tell us?This show may offend some, because the Lie is bigger than most can imagine.  But it's about time to face that.

Have you ever wondered why there is 'no power in The Church?'  Or why the nation -- and the whole world literally -- seems to be "on the Road to Hell?"  Or why $#!% and lies that used to be called what they are - abomination - have now moved from the nightly news to being taught from pulpits and used to abuse grade-schoolers? The Bible calls it all kinds of things, including especially idolatry.  But it amounts to a failure to teach, to read, to "rightly divide the Word of Truth."   And a guy named Paul once warned about those who accept "another jesus" in the place of the Real Messiah.He was right.  But we've reached the point where people don't even understand the irony in that admonition.It's not merely that "His mama never called Him 'jesus'."   Or that nobody ever even used that name for more than 1500 years after the Real Messiah taught in the flesh on Earth.It's that they now try to call Him a "liar" by turning what He actually taught upside-down.  Perhaps the biggest lie in human history is that "jesus did away with 'The Law.'"It's important we know the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  And can tell the Real from the fake.
