Currently, the series is tied 1-1 and both the Rays and Dodgers are at the neutral site in Arlington, Texas. However, for the next three games, the Rays will serve as the home team.

On August 23, Jacob Blake, a 29 year old African-American Man was shot 7 times in the back as he was trying to get into his car. Blake’s kids were in the car as he was being shot. Police had a warrant for Blake’s arrest and claimed he was resisting but all the video shows is Blake walking with his back turned to the police. In Major League Baseball a lot has gone on in terms of players protesting and players fighting for social justice. This past Wednesday, Dom Smith from the New York Mets was highly emotional while discussing matters that are currently going on. Numerous teams throughout Baseball and the NHL have cancelled their games due to social matters and joined the NBA. Keep your eye out on the progression through the next couple of days.
