This past week, Mark and Jair discussed the outcome of the World Series after the Dodgers defeated the Rays in six games. Corey Seager won World Series MVP in the triumph that ended the 32-year championship drought for the Dodgers. They add another reason for the city of Los Angeles to celebrate.

This past week, Mark and Jair discussed the first Game of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers. Both hosts noticed how well Mookie Betts has done defensively throughout the postseason. Both hosts also detailed who they are rooting for personally. Currently, the series is tied 1-1 and both the Rays and Dodgers are at the neutral site in Arlington, Texas. However, for the next three games, the Rays will serve as the home team.

This past week, Mark and Jair discussed what's happening in the Eastern Conference Finals in the NBA, Major League Baseball, the wrapping up their regular season, and it’s eye-opening how the season is ending. They also discuss the many injuries currently happening in the NFL.

On August 23, Jacob Blake, a 29 year old African-American Man was shot 7 times in the back as he was trying to get into his car. Blake’s kids were in the car as he was being shot. Police had a warrant for Blake’s arrest and claimed he was resisting but all the video shows is Blake walking with his back turned to the police. In Major League Baseball a lot has gone on in terms of players protesting and players fighting for social justice. This past Wednesday, Dom Smith from the New York Mets was highly emotional while discussing matters that are currently going on. Numerous teams throughout Baseball and the NHL have cancelled their games due to social matters and joined the NBA. Keep your eye out on the progression through the next couple of days.
