Pride goes before a fall. Mark 7:20-23 talks about Pride being from within, and believers should be careful of things that come from within. It most times feel so right to do the things that come from within, and if care is not taken, we would allow it gain ground in us. We as believers, should never allow the wrong thing inside of us grow. Rather, we should evaluate ourselves from time to time, and allow the Holy Spirit lead us aright.

Eph 6: 12 says, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against power....... And to wrestle against them, we need to understand the importance of prayer in our courtship/marriage and that, it cannot be overemphasized. Wisdom is the Principal thing, profitable to direct. We need wisdom to court our spouses rightly. James 1:5 says he who needs God's wisdom should ask...
