Marist track and cross country director Pete Colaizzo ’86, now in his 32nd year of coaching the Red Foxes, talks with Marist alumni Charles DiSogra ’68 and John Forbes ’68 about the historic 100-hour marathon relay held in March 1967 and the founding of the Marist track and field team. Their conversation includes anecdotes about the College and memorable figures from the mid-1960s, as well as new efforts to support current and future student athletes.
