Lyle and TJ are the perfect balance of Mariners fans. They are consistent and pride themselves on giving the best mariners content on the internet.

Absolutely best Mariners pod out there, the other pods cannot compare. Though easily the best part of the pod is Lyle. He is the smartest, funniest, and most attractive one on the pod. Sorry CP or whatever your name is, you’re just not on Lyle’s level. Their merch is great quality too, I got a hoodie and it’s got me as snug as a bug in a rug. And to the guy who called them cornballs in the other review, come have a conversation with me, I’ll sock you silly. Hope to meet you sometime soon at the ballpark Lyle, and who knows, I might just become the third member of the pod, or maybe I’ll replace CP, we’ll see what ends up happening. Thanks for reading.

As a new Mariners fan living across the country in Tennessee, I’m dependent upon several outlets to keep up with my new team. I’ve listened to every episode this season, and regardless of how this team ends up, you guys do an amazing job covering the M’s. Keep up the great work!

These are my guys for baseball! Go M’s

I sincerely love the show, the guys are extremely knowledgeable but still fans like us listeners…but a 38 minute episode turning into 47 minutes with ads PLUS your own ad reads that are already factored into the original 38? C’mon…

The analysis is incoherent and inconsistent and these two can be as frustrating as the Mariners.

These guys have becomes unbelievably corny. You can tell they are so try hard. They want to be like the Red Sox guy that cusses all the time and the Mets guy that rages all the time it’s really lame. Being a grown man screaming about baseball is corny. Imagine bouncing your first pitch and then thinking you know more than actual baseball people.

Lyle, thanks for your time on 710. You are very good at talking for someone who may or may not be able to read 😉 Love you guys.

I love your listening to the podcast and I hope you guys keep doing it. I started listening last year and now I listen to it every time a new episode comes out.

Why aren’t we starting a movement to get Mariners TV free to all T Mobile subscribers??? Let’s penny pinch just John Stanton would…

I recently found the Marine Layer Podcast, and am thrilled I did. Having married into a family of lifelong Mariner fans, I have to keep up with the latest, and the podcast helps me do that. The guys are easy to listen to, the editing and volume levels are quality, and the information we get is fantastic. Keep up the good work, the positive vibes, and Tridents Up!

I love that these guys just talk Mariners Baseball and seem like regular dudes anyone could have a couple beers with. Cheers boys

Really enjoy the show

Just my opinion.

😎😎 go M’s

These guys are awesome. Thought I’d just listen during playoff run, but find myself listening each week instead of some of our local radio shows. Good “every fan” takes along with solid baseball knowledge. Look forward to each show.

The offseason—especially the start of it—isn’t easy. But it can be easier. These guys are here to help us through it all with smart analysis and fun banter as we look forward to the 2026 season. Let’s go M’s!

I’ve been listening for the past couple months. I love the analysis and their passion for the team.

M’s fan of 20+ years in the Midwest here, and I love listening to this show. It’s informative and entertaining all while feeling more like a casual conversation than your typical podcast. I can really relate to the hosts and that makes me actually want to listen rather than feeling like I just have to play it in the background so I can clear it from my “un-listened” list. Keep up the good work fellas, go M’s!

My favorite podcast and has been for the last 6 months. You guys are the best!

This is my favorite Mariners podcast. These guys know what they’re talking about and I love their insight and humor. Definitely a must listen and if you are an M’s fan!

I listen to A LOT of Health & Fitness podcasts, but this is BY FAR the best one I’ve ever found. I took Lyle’s advice to pound PB&Js and it was LIFE CHANGING! I gained 20 lbs of muscle in NO TIME, and HOW COULD I NOT with all of the protein flowing through my system while I’m PUMPING IRON? 💪 Keep up the good work guys, I can’t wait for your next life changing tips!

First 2 mins of show- asking you to buy their merch and patreon Next 15 mins- non stop complaining about the mariners Pretty brutal product

Not sure how this podcast is rated so high. If you enjoy listening to 2 guys talk about how many reposts their tweets got, or listen to crash out screeching into the mic, this is the podcast for you I guess.

Like the baseball talk. Hate the fascist propaganda that’s come on before some recent shows. Fix that problem and I’ll be back.

I love these guys so much. Lyle and TJ, I can’t wait to meet you guys one day. You help me process all my emotions with every up/down that comes with a Mariners season. Thanks for always responding to my instagram DM’s as well. Still need to see TJ reverse the Aquasox Grease Monkey Outfit curse and go fire in a strike. Shoutout to my M’s boys Jacob, Bennett and Stevie (if this makes it on the pod).

Lyle is quite literally most annoying guy, who thinks he knows baseball but opinions show the exact opposite, who has a platform to voice opinions! This podcast would be 1000% better without him!

Great show focused on all things Mariners. Appreciate the content fellas. Just what a fan needs to scratch the itch between games

These guys are painful to listen to, just a couple whiny dudes who think they know more about baseball than anyone else

These fellas are incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining about everyone’s favorite PNW baseball team.

Lyle and TJ do an amazing job covering the Mariners and the perspective of us true to the blue fans. Thanks for covering and fun and difficult topics!

These guys are the best in the business. Unmatched in knowledge and passion. Think Brock and Salk, but younger and better. A must listen for any Mariner fan.

These guys don’t even like this baseball team. They never talk about anything but ownership.

Please do the mailbox peak hike with fans I will do it with you. Maybe Tucker isn’t the right goalpost.

I really like Lyle and TJ and their passion for baseball and the mariners. My only criticism is they can be a little whiny and wallow in negativity. I get it with this ownership group and bad luck of this franchise but if I wanted a lot of airing of grievances that’s what twitter and comment sections are for. A little more positivity guys!

But there’s no way Lyle squats three plates

Finally a voice for the frustration that is being a Mariners fan. Ownership and management rely too much on blind loyalty of their fan base and don’t make the decisions that lead to real winning. Thank you for speaking truth.

Mike Zunino is amazing

I first discovered TJ and Lyle when they filled in for the Brock and Salk show. As a long time sports radio listener, I was in pure shock how fresh, entertaining, and informative they were. I was super happy to find out they had this podcast where I not only could be entertained with their passion for our Mariners, but learn about baseball and potential prospects etc. Listen to this podcast if you love the mariners. Side note: Lyle also joining the Brock and Salk show permanently has been just awesome. You are doing a great job!!!

Love your show. Passionate, Funny and destined for greatness! I think you guys are Perfect to join my Scrooge Busters Campaign. I’m looking to create a Pressure Campaign on M’s Ownership to Step up and truly commit to WINNING Championships! Enough of the Frugality and penny pinching! This is a very financially successful Ownership that is full of money excuses. Come on let’s empower and educate fans to pressure more investment in WINNING a World Series!! Now that’s a good strategy!!

Listen to these guys as often as I can, even decided to start my own podcast from the positive influence of these guys!

I enjoy listening to this podcast for the insights on different aspects of the team, whether they are talking about players or a potential trade. I love the clever ‘Russell Wilson umpire of the week’ segment and the small personal sharing of ‘speak your mind’. Keep it up guys, love listening to you!

I love you guys love the show. Sometimes on Spotify at least for me the audio was light. Does seem better on Apple Podcasts. Would love to meet you guys and talk Mariners sometimes.

I’ve been a Mariners fan for a long time. I still learn something new about the Ms every time I listen to.

It’s nice to know Lyle has abs really ads to the vibe

Everyone make sure to leave more 5 star reviews so they stay better rated than Brock

Thank you, Lyle, for putting up with Salk, day in and day out. Well done. Feel free to mute him as well, not just Brock!

Lyle and TJ know their baseball and are passionate fans of the Mariners. I love watching them on You Tube shorts also. Lyle, you are doing great on the Brock & Saulk Show too!

5 stars

I have never listened to the podcast but I do listen to Brock and Salk and I think that they are jerks to Lyle and I think you deserve to have a better rating then they do mainly because you have ended Ranked. But you still gotta step it up on mean tweets.
