Richard Oland was a Canadian businessman, part of one of the three elite families in New Brunswick. Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka were Canadian serial killers from Ontario. They were a deadly wedded duo who stalked and preyed upon girls during the early 1990's. Robert William Pickton was convicted in 2007 of the second-degree murder of six women. Arrested in 2002, he was the subject of a lengthy investigation that yielded evidence of numerous other murders. On June 4, 2014, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Justin Bourque, a 24 year old resident shot five officers of the RCMP, killing three and severely injuring two. A manhunt for Bourque was launched and continued overnight into June 5. Donna Jones was a Canadian woman who was tortured to death by her husband, Mark Hutt, in Ottawa, Ontario, in 2009. The 33-year-old's body was found in the basement of her home badly burned, beaten, with broken bones, and having been shot with a pellet gun.
