Welcome to Mama Unscathed!
In today's episode we have a mother/daughter duo, Holly Neal (a mother of 4 daughters) and Julia Gardner (expecting her first baby this Spring), sharing their story and how it changed them. Julia shares her story about fighting cancer after being diagnosed in 2015, while Holly is able to give the mom’s perspective, sharing how it felt seeing her daughter go through something like this. Visit their charity, Julia's Jammies, on Facebook and Instagram to learn how you can support children and families fighting pediatric cancer:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/juliasjammies/Instagram: @juliasjammiesMore about Julia’s Jammies:Julia Gardner is a leukemia survivor. She was diagnosed in 2015 and finished treatment at the end of 2017. While inpatient, she and her family wanted to give back to the community they were forced to join, the Oncology unit of a Children’s Hospital! The first year they started this project, they collected over 500 pairs of pajamas and donated them to 5 hospitals. They now have collected over 3500 and distributed them to 17 hospitals nationwide!
