No doubt about it, Barbara Kaynan is a fascinating human! A Registered Drama Therapist with the North American Drama Therapy Association and mom to two littles, Barbara holds a Master's degree from NYU in Drama Therapy and a certificate from KINT Institute in The Arts and trauma treatment.

She specializes in trauma-informed person-centered care; guiding individuals and groups, across treatment settings and cultural organizations, during times of big life transitions. Barbara has experience leading therapeutic theatre processes for Holocaust survivors, she has provided expressive, clinical support for at-risk youth, hospitalized children recovering from medical procedures and their families, individuals living with chronic and persistent mental illness, adults in acute psychosis, and older adults living with skilled nursing and memory care needs.

Barbara is a published research scholar, peer review editor, and former professor at Long Island University.
