In this episode we're exploring what Jesus mean't when he said 'On earth as it is in Heaven', we believe that this statement should be connected to the three preceding statements - namely that God's name should be Hallowed; that His Kingdom come and His will be done. That all of this is on earth, as it is already in Heaven, God is the one who is hallowed, whose life is holy, God is the one whose life is one of blessing, and his will is to see humans flourishing.&nbsp; All of this should happen on earth as it is already intended in heaven. &nbsp;

When I try to organise my thoughts in my mind, it often feels unconnected and unreal. Thinking out loud is how I process complex ideas and opinions. Theology, Karl Barth said, is like painting a bird in flight or as Charles Gerkin observed, it is done on the run. Thinking out loud is what we are going to do in this podcast. We are not going to formulate final answers, conclusions or dogmas. We will allow ourselves to think out loud.
