In this episode we are looking at the Kingdom of God, and we're taking a little different approach. Instead of just looking at the kingdom as something that we see around us everyday; even today in modern monarchs, we are thinking about the kingdom in terms of blessing. Jesus starts his earthly ministry by blessing, but we know that the blessing goes back to the Garden of Eden when God blessed his creation; could it be that God's Kingdom is about seeing his life his intention to bless all of life, and flow to all of life again and when that happens the Kingdom of God comes.

When I try to organise my thoughts in my mind, it often feels unconnected and unreal. Thinking out loud is how I process complex ideas and opinions. Theology, Karl Barth said, is like painting a bird in flight or as Charles Gerkin observed, it is done on the run. Thinking out loud is what we are going to do in this podcast. We are not going to formulate final answers, conclusions or dogmas. We will allow ourselves to think out loud.
