Always good to get another episode of Making Problem to Solve. We get to hear from a wide range of people in the maker space.

Dave’s podcast focuses so much on the people in the maker community in a fun and curious manner. Such a big contrast to the typical “what project are you doing this week?” format. It’s Bullseye for makers and how could you say anything bad about that?

Not every podcast really listens to the folks they talk to. Some of it is talking at where there is some sort of pointed agenda. Dave just asked questions and then listens. Drawing out what makes various makers tick, and the reasons that they do what they do. Look for each episode.

Dave has a good way of interviewing his guests to see how they view their art and how curiosity fuels their experience. Give it a listen.

Each episode introduces us to a new person, someone whose own experience helps us to see a bigger world, especially regarding how to think about problems and situations. I’ll never personally have their experiences but the lessons and wisdom shared has helped me understand and think about my encounters and helps provide possible contexts and thinking paradigms to see the bigger picture.

Dave brings on a wide range of makers with interesting and varied backgrounds. Definitely worth the listen!

I’m a long time listener of not only the “Making Problems to Solve” podcast, but also the sage advice of David Bauer! Wonderful interviews with interesting problem solvers! This is def a podcast to follow!

I’m really glad to be friends with David and have been asked to be on the podcast. David makes a comfortable space to talk with artists and makers. He is a welcoming person on the podcast and in person. Wish him many more episodes of success.

Dave is a great host, he listens well to his guests and allows them the space to speak their minds and has a very supportive attitude along the way. He’s built his platform around supporting all the makers and creators he loves and it shows from his catalog of episodes.

I was inspired by Dave’s recent episode with Paul Meyette when he described Paul as “a pillar of the maker community” to realize that Dave himself is a pillar of the maker community. I consider Dave a friend and have been a fan of this podcast from day one, and was proud to be a guest pretty early on. Since then Dave has really hit his stride and sounds very comfortable interviewing guests and leading the conversation when necessary. That being said, this podcast is definitely conversational and Dave is happy to follow the path the conversation leads down, rather than sticking to pre-written questions. I have learned about many new and interesting people, especially ones that are a little outside of my main interests, through listening. Keep up the great work!

Dave is one of my favorite Makers for several reasons. He’s got a ton of talent and knowledge AND he’s a great guy. I love that he’s thrown his hat in the podcast ring and I look forward to seeing this show grow.
