Great podcast!
Each week the hosts put together a great line up of craftspeople from a wide range of mediums. While the techniques and materials differ, the conversations are always top-notch.

Katie is a great interviewer!
I love tuning in to Katie and listening to her chats with new Makers. The interviews are inquisitive and hearing the stories of how they started and what makes their creative juices tick is always engaging.

Real & Inspiring
Appreciate learning about all the moms and other wonder women who create. Really appreciate that this podcast let’s all women bring their whole selves to their making discussions. These are the conversations I would imagine we have around kitchen tables across the country, and I love to hear what all those kitchen tables sound like, even when they aren’t like mine. Keep up the inspiring content, mama!

Absolute brilliance
This podcast solidly stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Making It, Obey the Grain, Fitzall, Fools With Tools, Modern Maker and others in my feed. Realistic, honest, informative, witty — always worth a listen! Every maker perspective is an opportunity to strengthen and simultaneously diversify the community, and many valuable perspectives can be found here.

Looking for motivation on being a maker?
Look no further. Katie has a way to bring out the best in the people she talks with. Her voice is soothing (very important) and the people she interviews always bring out inspiration and motivation in my own making. I am constantly inspired, and have made many new connections by listening and following these extraordinary women makers. Keep on keeping on!

This podcast w MaderabyErika as very inspirational. I love that the young mothers of today are able to follow their dreams of becoming “more” than what is expected. This was such a wonderful example of keeping priorities where they belong and growing into and becoming so much more......

Enjoyable and encouraging
I really enjoy listening to this podcast, and I’m impressed with the number of women makers Katie is able to find, from all sorts of backgrounds and specialties. Finding time for craft is tough when you have kids - turns out you don’t get weekends off as a mom! - so I feel encouraged hearing how other women make it work even while wearing a ton of hats.

DISGUSTED!
This is supposed to be a podcast about creative women instead up focusing on creativity the focus appears to be the fact that they have an alternative lifestyle! Who really cares who or what they are sleeping with. I have yet to hear a podcast where men are disclosing their sexual preference in substitute for what they are creating in their shop. This was pathetic and yes I listened to all of the episodes before reviewing...

Completely Captivated by this new podcast - MakerMom!
Young mom & artisan, Katie Freeman is a breath of fresh air. Unassuming and authentic, I listened to her first podcast and was immediately hooked! These impassioned stories by Katie & other remarkable women artists/mothers from around the country are motivating me to be more creative in my own life and tugging at my heartstrings, as the best and most challenging job in the world is being a mom. Listen, laugh, tear up, become inspired, enjoy!
