Embrace negative emotions, do not fear them. If the only thing that’s stopping you is because you might feel disappointed if it doesn’t turn out well, then do it anyway. The only way that you’ll get there is if you keep moving forward, and the only way you could become strong enough to handle disappointment is to practice facing it and handling it.

Once we realize that the story we’ve told ourselves is just that - a story and that it is optional if we’re going to believe it or if we’re going to let it go, then it gives us the power to choose how we would see ourselves and the world around us.
