Great podcast! Great chemistry with the whole cast

I always know that I will laugh when I go to listen to Maester Monthly. Such great chemistry with all the host.

I appreciate the different views of all of the hosts who come onto the podcast. It’s enjoyable to hear some discussion on a wide range of topics, some of which may not be able to hold their own if only that subject was chosen for a longer podcast. It’s also fun to discuss sillier ideas, such as who is your favorite woods witch.

The creators are fun to listen to, but I wish they would act as though the listener hadn’t read the obscure comment they are talking about. I wish they would directly quote/summarize posts more before they reference it.

Even though this podcast is probably the most inconsistently published one I’ve ever seen, it’s also one of the few that get me to literally laugh out loud along with the banter. Regardless of who is hosting there’s always a great vibe. Plus it’s a super helpful show for me because I feel like I can’t stay on top of all the posts on reddit and they give a great rundown of noteworthy posts and comments. Also, thanks to the pasta horoscope chat I am now very proud to tell everyone I know that I am lasagne.

I like an evening at the quill and tankard as much as the next nerd, but perhaps maester monthly should re-brand as maester quarterly and spare us the dramatic wait for their next, imminently expected episode. Kinda like...

Jumped out of the asoiaf fandom because of two of the hosts’ relentless punching down at other fans trying to have fun. This is just a mean asoiaf clique with absolutely no self reflection.

First time listener and I will be back for more.

I’m so angry I didn’t find this podcast sooner. This has SAVED me at work and I’m going to be devastated when I run out of episodes to binge. Such wonderful and intelligent discussions. I’m obsessed with ASOIAF but unfortunately i have zero friends who share the same passion, therefore this is the most fun I’ve had listening to a podcast in a while.

I LOVE this podcast. All of the moderators are not only super knowledgeable about all things ASOIAF, but they’re super funny too! I always look forward to this podcast pueudo-monthly, and never can get enough of each episode. Keep it up, all you Aegons!

Never did I ever think I would hear Yugioh talked about on an ASOIAF podcast but these glorious people have proven me wrong. 11/10 would highly recommend for both ASOIAF content and Yugioh references.

I laughed so hard when you brought up Delilah. I always thought she was local to my area too. Y'all do a great job, and are a lot of fun to listen to. I also look forward to Not A Cast, Game of Owns, and Radio Westeros updates. Just tried my first Girls Gone Canon today too, also good stuff. I have a few friends into ASOIAF, but not as into it as me, so I've never been able to get in depth conversations going like you guys have together, so I enjoy getting to ride along for it. Thanks for doing what you do!

You will enjoy this podcast even if you don’t follow the ASOIAF reddit community. They tap into the fan hive-mind for the best analysis, theories, and news. They are also a log of fun.

This pod mixes the best ingredients in the ASOIAF fandom- character analysis, theories, tinfoil, humor, and guests. Together, the hosts cook up a pod that’s a sure recipe for a fun listen. Maester Monthly stirs it up with the occasional spicy take to make an ASOIAF stew a million times better than any bowl o’ brown!

It's that thing that comes once a month that you actually look forward to. A lot less bloody, too. Well, most of the time. It's interesting, entertaining and very funny. These guys have definitely earned their podcasting link, knowledgeable folks who have done a heck of a lot for the fandom and deserve an audience for that alone. Subscribe, leave these guys a like or a baby in the woods, but be sure to listen to their great podcast!

These guys are definitely Maesters who have forged their platinum link for awesomeness! Amidst the countless other GoT and ASoIaF podcasts that can be found in the App Store, this one stands out. For me it is the interesting topics that keep me listening. Theories and mysteries are very interesting.

Sincerely no shade intended but I don’t have time for Reddit. I mean this in a chronological sense; though fun, I seriously don’t have the time to fall down rabbit holes at this time. This podcast is so great in part because they hold a “Best of Reddit” each month therefore I don’t feel I’m missing out as much. I also enjoy hearing from the mods about their own thoughts on any given subject. They offer their own deep, enthralling spicy hot takes all the while asking questions such as, “Are there dingoes in the village?” I enjoy every mod that’s appeared on this podcast and I just hope they don’t stop... ever.

Just found this podcast whilst looking for anything ASOIAF related. I’m enjoying the long format with the subreddit tie ins. By the way, thanks. Now I’ve signed up for reddit and I can’t stop reading all this stuff. I’ve got things to do dammit. May the others take you. Great podcast, hosts discuss ASOIAF topics and theories. As a fairly casual book reader, I always learn a lot and it is super funny and entertaining. They bring in guests to represent a variety of perspectives and mix up the themes to keep it interesting. I don't know anything about the Reddit World but that doesn't prevent me from enjoying the podcast so don't let that keep you away. Overall, I'm always excited to see this podcast in my feed every month, so definitely check it out!

Good blend of in depth analysis and comedy sprinkled in. The more guests the the better the podcast imo!

They make me laugh and provide insightful discussions. If you are a ASOIAF fan, this is a must have on your playlist! Great theory discussion, some provocative, some tinfoil but all entertaining.

There’s a reason why there are so many five star ratings. The podcast does a perfect job of combining humor with in depth conversation about all things asoiaf related.

The only Game of Thrones episode breakdown that makes me laugh out loud!

I’m not a redditor, but it’s a great podcast for aSoIaF fans. Solid production quality, some in-depth analysis, but also some broad overview of what the aSoIaF community is coming up with. Great way to pass the time while waiting for tWoW.

Good and fun ASOIAF content.

This is easily my favorite asoiaf podcast, the hosts are all extremly knowledgeable about the series since they are moderators of the asoiaf reddit, theyre entertaining and most of all they get into the themes of the series and will talk at length about what they each think and how they interpret many different sections of the story. Their subreddit highlights also encourage the listeners to go to the subreddit if they want more discussion about the topics.

Just listen to your Award winning episode it was great as always. I normally watch via YouTube. I love the animations.

Imagine your funniest friends also knew a lot about A Song of Ice and Fire. Boom - you just got a little taste of Maester Monthly. I love listening to MM because I really do feel like I'm eavesdropping on some great asiof analysis and gossip. Heads up - don't attempt Bulgarian Squats while listening to this 'cast. You've been warned.

As an ASOIAF super-nerd, I've been looking for something to fill the long months between Radio Westeros episodes. I've really enjoyed Maester Monthly so far. Their analysis of the music of the show stands out. I will say I've preferred the more focused segments with 2-3 people talking over some of the more unstructured group conversations. Keep it up!

Despite BryndenBFish always being wrong, this podcast is still wonderful!

I've been reading r/asoiaf for YEARS. Never once have I posted; I only read. Sometimes I read it once a week, sometimes I read it once a day. I have exhausted all other a ASOIAF podcasts. I just finished re-listening to every Radio Westeros episode for the second time. I randomly searched podcasts for "ASOIAF" & found this. I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. Even though I never post, it's all I think about. Thank you guys so much for doing this! The summaries of posts are awesome, & the commentary even better. 💖
