I have LOVED this podcast for so long. Jennie talks about things going on in our world, about real issues my generation faces, but addresses them practically. I never have to ask “How do I fix this” or “What do I do now”, she is already there. She’s REAL! And I cried after my first episode because I found out I wasn’t alone in how I felt. But the best part of this podcast is that, because of it’s real world application, I’ve been able to talk about this podcast with my non-Christian parents and friends. We talk all the time about things going on in “real” life: work, school, mental health, news, etc. and because Jennie and her guests are so REAL, a lot of it comes to my mind when talk with nonbelievers and gives me the greatest gift: an “in” to sharing about Jesus and what my Christian viewpoint is on life’s situations. Thank you SO MUCH Jennie! I love you and pray for you, your family, your MFT team, and your ministry to continue to grow and reach the world!

You hang with and interview all my heros like Curt Thompson, Pete Scazzero and John Mark Comer. And then I go to my next podcast, Captivating, and there you are again with Stasi! It helps me feel validated that there’s a reason I’m drawn to all of y’all… THERES SO MUCH TRUTH IN YOUR MESSAGE! Thank you for being obedient to your calling and blazing a wonderful trail. I’m turning 56 next month and am still trying to entangle my emotions. I’ll ask for your book for my birthday!

I listen to Made for This every week and have read most of Jennie’s books. I’m currently reading Untangle Your Emotions and I love listening to the podcast in addition to reading. This podcast has helped me have more self awareness, work on my relationships, and most importantly it has helped me get to know God better throughout my spiritual journey. I recently discovered Jennie’s podcast. It has been so eye opening. I went to seminary too but I don’t remember any teaching about the role of emotions. In fact, it feels like emotions were always presented in a bad light. This podcast is part of my weekly “me time”. I am praying that you can keep making more! God bless you!

I am currently in a nursing home setting at 37 years old. It’s depressing however, right now I know all I need is God all I need is to hear his good news! This podcast has beyond help me wrap my mind around this along with all the emotions I have in here, including depression and loneliness, but I know God is always with me thank y’all so very much. I am beyond blessed to have found this podcast along with your books.

I have been listening to Jennie for several years. She (and her team) speaks truth in a way that everyone can understand and apply to their life. I found “Made For This” during the pandemic when I was seeking something for my spiritual life during the lock down. Jenny has topics and people on her podcast that always leads you to Jesus. It is welcoming and encourages me to seek the light of Jesus and be the light for Jesus. There is no condemnation, just encourage me how to love others and trust my life as a disciple of Christ.

I don’t intend to sound whoa is me. But I’ve been in a season of fear and self doubt. A second mammogram came back with an abnormality about a month ago and it shook me. I finally had a biopsy yesterday so we are still praying for negative for cancer but… Jennie’s Podcast and her Get Out Of Your Head book (listening on Audible) have been my go to when I need encouragement, when I’m spiraling, or to prevent a spiral. Jennie is A Woman Of God. She fears Him! She Loves Him! She leans into him! And she know His word! Listening to Jennie give solid life advice backed with scripture has given me tools to lean into as well. So Jennie thank you for the time and love you put into your podcast and your books. You are helping so many people. Listening to you, leaning into the Lord, cherishing praise music, my husband, and trusted friends have all helped me have crucial mental shifts. After some positive observations at the biopsy yesterday I feel positive this thorn has been for a purpose and it was to help me know and trust Him more. Ps. I first heard you at my church’s women’s event Ignite at Stonewater Church in Granbury, TX. I love your passion, your sense of humor, and your vulnerability. I have listened to every show, read every book, and enjoyed every bible study! I love sharing everything I have hear and learned! I can listen to the audio books and podcasts over and over and learn something else I have missed. Love reading and or listening audio books to the guest that’s been on your show! It’s so uplifting! Truly inspirational to be closer to God in so many different ways! I may have lost the way through life struggles of life. I have made my way back through God showing me over and over he has never left me! Thank you for the encouraging messages and being real about the true struggles we due face emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. But, when we due break through we are stronger with with that with God. So thank you for that. You have helped me in so many ways. I’m grateful that you saw that God had something for you share to the world!

I have only listened to one episode but I have to stop there. She misspoke pretty egregiously and said “at the exact moment of salvation, we are justified and we are sanctified. In that moment, those things happen to us.” That’s inaccurate. We are indeed justified at salvation, but sanctification is a lifelong process that we go through with the help of the Holy Spirit. It most certainly does not “just happen” at salvation. This is a basic biblical concept so if she’s getting that wrong then I can’t really have confidence in the rest of her teaching.

Jennie Allen has a gift of expressing the Truth of His word in a way that resonates deeply. Every episode I listen to opens my eyes to something, gives me a new perspective, makes me feel connected, or changes me for the better. Thank you Jennie!

Can’t help but feel disappointed. I’ve listened to Jennie for years and have seen her live twice… and have really loved her! I recently saw she’s teaming up with Victoria Osteen… which really tainted the view I now have of Jennie’s content and how authentic I always thought she was.

I have just found Jenny Allen’s podcast, and I have been greatly encouraged, inspired, and challenged by her words. She loves Jesus and wants to share Him with everyone. I love how she is focused on spreading the good news to the next generation. She is spurring me on to do the same.

I love how real Jennie keeps it. I am an 8th grade English teacher in Texas and I know God wants to use me in my school. I also co-lead a trauma study for abused women and believe God can use me with students who suffer trauma as well…this last sermon I listened to about taking a woman to coffee has just ignited a new flame in me to just start with one. I don’t have to have it all figured out or have a complete study and guide in front of me. God can use me where I am…starting with just one.

Rehearing the IF: Gathering message on Sept 14, 2023 has really helped me feel some sort of healing and hope for this long disorienting season I’ve been in. I have a long history of being a part of IF: from its early days first hearing about it when filming the Restless study and then as a volunteer in 2015 and hosting IF:Locals… God had really used Jennie and her ministry to inspire me for big ideas and I saw fruit in that , but today I’m reminded that simple obedience and coffee dates is actually what God may have for me and that I should be expectant in that!

I’m so grateful for Jennie’s work in writing, leading and continuing Gods work in so many areas. She has been a huge blessing to me through this podcast and more! Thank you!🤍🙏🏻🩷
