Born in Atlanta, Ga, and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Neisha Aireal grew up striving to find her place in a sighted world with low vision. She was diagnosed with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia as a toddler but she didn’t let it stop her. She learned to do things her own way while still enjoying the normal milestones and past times of childhood. After graduating college she returned to Atlanta to begin making her mark on the world through creativity and self expression. She maintains a love for music and helping others. She sings and writes music and has now begun to make her mark on social media. You can find her on TikTok and Instagram educating others about low vision awareness and inspiring those in the visually impaired community with her fun and motivational videos. She advocates for those who may not feel confident enough to do it for themselves and wants the world to know that the blind still grind.
