I was really looking forward to hearing ths podcast, but it was a waste of time.

Wow what a perfect blend. I know quite a bit already about Luther, but there is still so much here to learn. These small real time vignettes make it easy to fit an episode in or binge on a Saturday. Just fabulous. Don’t miss out.

No one has been more damaging then Luther.

This has been an encouragement to my soul, informative to my mind, and inspiring to my imagination! The quality of the writing, performance, and production shows itself in every episode. It’s not a mere documentary, the creators take time and care to build the tension! I keep saying “just one more!” I would love to see Ligonier produce more content like this from the annals of Church History!

The entire series was excellent! RC, being a great story teller himself, would have loved this series! Putting this vital history into a theatrical format kept me captivated during each episode. May GOD bless your efforts. I hope this continues.

I find the way the story is told confusing. If only Ligonier had come up with idea in 2017. In order to hold to the conceit that the episode hits events 500 years later to the day, at least half the episode is flashing back years earlier. Hard to keep track of when events occur. Especially, when a past event is similar to the event at hand.

I just began hearing season one and I am being educated on Martin Luther’s life and what transpired leading to the Reformation. I am enjoying this tremendously!!

Fantastic podcast . It is easy to talk about freedom now however people like Hus , Wycliffe and Luther have been essential in our quest . “ where the Spirit of Lord is there is liberty “ . Thus our Great Land of Liberty has been established by this Spirit . Praise God ! Thank You Ligonier for Season 2 of “Luther in Real Time “ Excellent idea ! To review the events of 500 years ago again just before The Reformation Day 2021 . We are just about ready to forfeit our freedom as a nation but the freedom we’ve got through Jesus Christ can’t be taken away and we need to remember that The Great Reformation was very relevant in the process . Let’s do it again America! Return to God and His Truth and the truth will set us free again! God Bless!

Brings so much to life … has moved me to tears more than once. I praise God for his work through Luther, and this podcast!

I hate to give this a bad review but I am so disappointed in the second season. It appears to be simply a recap of season one. I’ve been looking forward to the second season since the end of the first. Why just repeat season one when there was so much more to Luther and his life?

This is a great brought -to- life story of this key event in History. Very well done; Riveting and exciting! .

I am both a history and Bible / Theology enthusiast. I immensely enjoyed the content of ‘Martin Luther in Real Time’, Podcast presented by Ligonier Ministries. The nostalgic way the content was presented in dramatic form, and the accuracy with which it was done is both to be commended, and hopefully repeated. (I was wishing that the story would/ could continue...) It reminded me of the nostalgic way that radio shows were presented in a long-time ago forgotten era. This was refreshing and gave a new perspective for both myself and my grown-up children. Thank you Ligonier Ministries for this opportunity to have encountered this drama / historical Podcast!

I’ve truly enjoyed this podcast and I’m totally perplexed as to why it must end. Did Luther’s life end after the Worms verdict? Hmmm.... I DON’T THINK SO! Please continue this podcast, the writing is excellent, the acting is believable and the production values are solid. Come on! Please continue this podcast! I’m not even a Lutheran and I really enjoy this podcast....😉

Extremely interesting account of MARTIN LUTHER and his reasoning .

I have so enjoyed this podcast on Martin Luther. I have read much about his life and the reformation , but this brought his humanity and the enormity of pressures against him into reality. I felt the burden of the stand he took in Worms, and fear when the Edict of Worms was read. Living after the Reformation it is difficult to really understand the risk Luther took to stand for and on the Word of God for the truth of Christ’s work on the cross and His mercy to us.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode of this well done podcast. The script is well written, the actors/speakers are very real in their character portrayal. And solid historical and Biblical truths are spoken. Thanks so much for bringing a crucial piece of church history and Luther’s life to the listening ears of the world.

I have shared this Podcast with several young people in our denomination (OPC) so they can truly understand Luther’s significance in the beginnings of the Reformed faith. Thank you.

I’ve never been one that would be known as a history buff. My life has been, rather, consumed with the study and practice of music. But as I have aged, history has tapped on my shoulders to remind me the wisdom & knowledge of the past. As I literally stumbled onto this podcast and the historicity of the person, Martin Luther... I was captivated from day one. There’s even a part of me that says, “just let all the episodes play out and then go back and binge on all of them at once.” But as each episode comes about, I am forced to hit play... unable to wait till they are all completed. Great job on all aspects. And I especially appreciate the concept of presenting as history played out... exactly 500 years ago. Thank you for enlightening me on the person of Martin Luther and his passion to live life and speak it according to scripture. For without it, I fear we would still be under that Roman Catholic Religion & the whims of Popes.

I have listened to a lot of podcasts. This is one of the best I have listened to. I look forward to each episode. I hope you will consider more Church history done this way.

So I am not really a big podcast listener, found this one on an email from Ligonier Ministries. I have always wanted to learn more about Martin Luther but too busy or lazy to read a book about him. This has been fascinating and educational at the same time. The individual who plays Luther does a great job as well as the guy that sets it up and gives you the historical background. I gave it 5 stars because it is really good stuff, my one complaint is the time spent reminding us about what is coming up and the requests for reviews and likes. The episodes are very short 8 to 12 minutes typically and the lengthy reminders can get somewhat annoying. Outside of that, I highly recommend it.

I’m so thankful to God this podcast was made and rear I stumbled across it. I actually am starting to read about church history and I’m excited to listen to all the episodes and take notes. God bless
