I wanted to like this
I love anything related to the moon and I really gave this a shot but it feels like I'm listening to a mother reading her child a story. I wish she'd just speak from the heart and not read from a script.

Great podcast
I really enjoy the Lunar Datebook podcasts. They are short but full of interesting information! I especially like the astrological updates for the week, gives me good insights into what to expect. Looking forward to future episodes!

Melodic with subtle humor
Lunar Datebook is soothing to the ears and the soul- Jennifer’s voice lulls you in to a moment of reflection, almost as thought the podcasts are an alternative way to meditate. The poems at the end signal an end to the reverie but a reminder to look up… and inward… throughout the day. Kudos to Ms. Ellsworth for creating something so subtle and yet so powerful.

Ethereal
Ethereal, enigmatic yet earthy….. the poetry and stories are so easy to relate to, and I find myself yearning for more after every podcast…. the information about the moon has also piqued my interest and gave me a hunger for additional knowledge. Thank you Jennifer!

37 Seconds
I was 37 seconds in to the first episode when I realized I loved this Podcast. There is something about Jennifer Ellsworth’s voice and delivery that is hypnotic. I never realized I knew so little about the moon OR that I wanted to know so much more. Hearing the poems, stories and ditties at the end of each episode give me a moment of listener connection and self-reflection which I appreciate. Highly enjoyed and recommended!

Worth a listen
I have really enjoyed listening to this podcast! I find it educational, entertaining, and the poetry offers a peak into this woman’s private thoughts. The educational information gives some real credence to a subject some think of as “flakey”, but Jennifer puts some meat and bones on it. Well worth a listen!

Mr.
Lunar Datebook provides an enjoyable weekly “lesson.” No quiz is a bonus! Listening to Jennifer's soothing voice is a good way to end the day – full moon or not! Its brevity and range of topics make it ideal as a “did you know” with some of my coworkers. Each week I learn something new and trivial but always interesting! And, I confess, I’ve used the term “witcheewoowoo alert” several times in casual conversation! Thanks Jennifer. I’ll keep looking up! :-)

A time to reflect...
I really enjoy Lunar Datebook. Each episode is under 10 minutes, which is all I really have time for in my busy day running around after kids. But in those ten minutes I’m brought into reflections on the moon, philosophy, science, history…all ending with a poem that helps me remember how each moment holds its own grace. My time to take a few deep breaths. I love it.

Intimate, personal, real, funny
Listening to the Lunar Datebook each week reminds me of what is what is most important in my busy life. It gives me perspective on the larger picture as well as often brings me to tears with the intimacy of the small moments in the author’s poetry. Feeling the connection between the small and the large has never failed to inspire me. I look forward to each week’s installment as a chance to “look up”.
