Encounter with Charlemagne Palestineinterview hosted by Andrea Marionirecorded in théâtre de la Valère, Sion, 21.07.22 within the exhibition Beauty & Room curated by Balthazar Lovaysound extracts: Charlemagne Palestine, live in the église des Jésuites, Sion, 23.07.22 for PALP Festival Charlemagne Palestine went through important decades of sound art avant-garde by collaborating with important figures such as Allan Kaprow, Tony Conrad, Morton Subotnick.Aside collaborations he created his own sound universe highly imprinted by notions such as sacred songs, performances arts or more precisely described by Charlemagne himself "Body sound". During the PALP festival he presented in le théâtre de la Valère, within the exhibition Beauty & Room curated by Bathalzar Lovay, a massive installation presenting a wide collection of divinities immerse in a sound work.On 23.07.22 a live sound performance has been presented to the audience at the église des Jésuites.The interview and the exchange hosted by Andrea Marioni wish to introduce this peculiar sound practice to everybody and dig developments in the career of Charlemagne Palestine.
