Upping the Ante while Lowering the Tone!
I've been a long time fan and supporter of podcast host Meat Katie's dj and music production work, and his occasional co-host/substitute-host on the podcast Ben Coda has become one of my favorite music producers in the last few years. This podcast features great new tunes in each episode expertly mixed by these great djs, and the genera/style represented is always changing slightly and so it's often different and never boring. The interviews with industry producers, djs and performers are uncut and unfiltered. The lack of structure in the interview portion can sometimes be distracting but it does also make for some really great, funny and honest moments. Great podcast!

Legendary musicians
Only a legendary musician/ producer could create such a podcast. Great music and interviews. Like hanging out in the green room back stage.

Only the best
I have been listening to lowering the tone since the first episode and been a Meat Katie fan for 5 years now. The podcast is a gem, fantastic tracks and the interviews are always a blast and really well done. I highly recommend it, do it, listen to it.

Crushing it for years
This dank podcast is just the latest in MK's long career of straight killing it, both on the decks and with his productions.

Love the podcast!
Not only does Mark/Meat Katie have great mixes on the podcasts, but I love the chat with other artists. He makes you feel like you are right there in the discussion and has a great selection of guests. I’ve also enjoyed hearing the stories and struggles of making/producing music these days, since I’m not a musician and make my living in a more boring field.
