Loving Our Rage
Loving Our Rage
AF3IRM SF Bay Area
Loving Our Rage, a podcast brought to you by the SF Bay Area chapter of AF3IRM. We are a grassroots organization of transnational feminist women of color who seek to end oppression in all of its forms. We believe that understanding and correcting historical injustices toward women and people of color is an integral part of our genuine liberation.
MMIR: The Bay Area and Beyond
In our second episode of Loving Our Rage, we sit down with Morning Star Gali to talk about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives, or MMIR - a movement to bring healing, justice, and awareness to the violence inflicted upon Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit relatives. We delve into the historical context of the California missionization and how it is connected to this violence we see today. We also discuss what healing can look like, and ways to support Indigenous folks in this movement. You can find more information at www.indigenousjustice.org.
