I am the furthest thing from "perfect" and don't believe it is ever attainable.  Instead, I embrace adversity and continue to work on myself.  Knowing that I can screw up and overcome obstacles brings me peace and lessens my anxiety.  Season 2 is another season of learning (sigh) :)
