Learning How I Didn't Want To Be Treated
As I continue on my journey, I am really trying to understand what I am feeling and why I needed to go through it. I believe that there were some lessons I obviously needed to learn and in this episode, I share some of them. This episode was difficult to record but I really felt called to continue to share my journey with you. If you are experiencing any signs of abuse, seek help and find support. If I didn't have the support around me, an outlet to escape to and counselling, my wounds would likely be deeper and I definitely wouldn't be where I am today.  www.michellegallant.ca

We Did The Damn Thing...
Kurt and I got married last week! There was nothing traditional about it - and it was perfect. I was happy, anxious and a little nervous, for all the right reasons.  In this episode I share my thoughts on the morning of the wedding. Since we both have been married before, we wanted to do things different than before, because we were different. It was just us and we got to spend the day how we wanted to. Hope you enjoy this little episode of love! www.michellegallant.ca

I Didn't Wake Up Like This
This episode was recorded from my bed.  I wanted to share the journey and how not to focus on the end goal but rather, focus on the work its going to take to get there. Sometimes it looks like I woke up to my dream life but if you've been paying attention, thats not true at all. I didn't just swipe left one day and boom, I woke up in a castle with the love of my life. It looks that way, and feels that way but you are ignoring the journey that it took and is still taking to make this life happen.  In this episode I discuss the importance of focus on your growth and development to create the life you want. Forcing it happen won't make it happen any faster. Enjoy the process its taking to get there.  www.michellegallant.ca

Communicate Better, Less Problems Later
We use therapy or counselling as a last resort but what would happen if we used it as the first resort? In this episode, I dive deeper into the ways we communicate and the effects it has on our relationships. We often only go into therapy sessions when there is a problem but what if we went before there was a problem? Let's start becoming vulnerable and create a safe space to tell one another what is on your heart.  www.michellegallant.ca

Don’t Look Behind You, It’s Bad for Your Neck
Maybe we aren’t meant to be with the same person forever? Maybe we aren’t meant to stay still. Maybe we don’t need to analyze and over think about why things didn’t work out the way we wanted them too. Let’s stay present and look ahead.

Come As You Are.
I can't help but think about how far I've come in my journey. I've often exhausted myself trying to be someone I wasn't - trying to gain someone's attention or love. What I've learned is - that's exhausting and for the right person, you are enough as you are right now.  I was laying in my bed last night and was thinking about how freeing it is to be loved as I am. There was no convincing. There was no wondering where I stood. I knew because it was clear. When you can come to a point in your life where you can just be yourself, its freeing. It's calm.  I hope that for you.

How to Create a New Chapter after Divorce, with Cheryl Duffy
None of us enter into a relationship waiting for it to end. But when/if it does end, we typically stay in a self-loathing mode. We're experiencing all types of feelings that keep us stuck from moving into the chapter of our lives without that person.  On this episode, I'm joined by Cheryl Duffy, she's founder of the Divorce Centre in Australia. After going through her divorce, she plummeted into depression and spent 6 years in post-divorce purgatory making 5 big mistakes delaying my recovery. Her mission is now to help others navigate through separation and divorce to accelerate their recovery so they didn't waste years of their life. www.thedivorcecentre.com.au

Start Owning, Stop Blaming
Do you ever find yourself 'venting' to a close friend about all the wrong ways someone is treating you? But you don't actually tell the person who is making you feel this way? This episode is all about owning our own shit and taking responsibility for the part we play. We need to start looking inward and identifying where we need to change. I have been in relationships where I was hoping it would magically change into what I wanted but I never said what I wanted or needed and I wasn't making any changes. I was expecting it to change without doing any of the work. Once I learned how to look at how and where I needed to change, that's when my relationships shifted.
