Bring back Kem!!!

All of the hosts are great but top marks to Indiyah and guest host Kae Kurd. I don’t remember all their names, sorry I’m American but those 2 have my in stitches. So does Amy. I love adding her in there more. Toms great as wel , even Sam who gets on my nerves but in a funny way. All around solid choices for hosts and guest hosts. And obvi for Maya who blows Laura Whitmore out of the water. Style, banter, beauty brains.

This podcast is to talk about the love island show…why are the hosts talking about themselves and what they like to do, their holidays, they sleeping style etc. There was so much to discuss about love island and instead they love asking each other personal questions. We don’t care!

Looove Sam and Indiyah! Sincere, genuine and ALWAYS fun.

I listen to this because I love Love Island but it’s often a painful listen. Here’s why… - Sam and Indiyah are very grating. They spend a LOT of time talking about their own relationships with Zara and Dami. In the most polite way possible, nobody cares. This is a Love Island podcast, not a ‘Sam and Indiyah Relationship Catch-Up.’ I think Sam is a lot better in his other podcast with Pete Wickes. - Indiyah comes off insincere or preachy sometimes. - Horrible bias. Sam’s comments that Tyrique WILL cheat on Ella on the outside were baseless. Sam doesn’t have a crystal ball. Nobody knows what Tyrique will be like as a boyfriend. It creates a false narrative about certain islanders. - The very obvious generic producer-generated questions about events of the show. “Would you ever get back with an ex?” For example. Just stick to talking about the show and Islanders!! - So many guests are not needed. The episodes with Will Manning and Amy Hart are fine and much more peaceful to listen to because they don’t yell like Sam does (sorry) Now here is how I think this podcast can really soar… scrap Sam and Indiyah. Replace them with Luke Kempner, Kae Kurd and Whitney. Luke and Kae have been the main reason I tuned in week after week. They were great guests and a lot more objective. They’d bounce off each other I think! Add Whitney to the mix because she has the personality that I think is expected from Indiyah. Trust me producers… you’ll hit the podcast jackpot with this combination of hosts fronting next season.

Love the pod mainly for Sam and to catch up with the dumped islanders. I like Indiyah, but she’s constantly interrupting and speaking over Sam and the other guests. The pod would certainly benefit from a new cohost, one who has more hosting experience and etiquette.

I love their viewpoints and banter. The only small complaint I have is the same as another reviewer. I listen a few days after the episode airs in the UK so the titles usually contain spoilers that have ruined a lot of things for me before I could watch them. It’s also hard sometimes to figure out which episode I’m on since I’m trying not to read the titles. Episode titles with just the episode they are reviewing would help us out in the US so much!

But Sam, let people speak/finish their sentences. I want to hear more from Indiyah. She was actually in there and enjoy her perspective but so many times she’s cut off and others. Let Indiyah speak/finish her thoughts!

I enjoy this podcast 4/5ths of the time however when Ian and Indyiah pick the person they want to come down on, they do it the whole season. Get off Molly already. She is the most mature, steady, no drama woman on the show. She has done nothing to anyone and yet on the podcast gets put down in almost every episode, and for what??? not being a mean girl?? Having greater ambitions than faking love on a show? Yall keep getting on her for not opening up and seem to forget that she left the villa and heard how nasty Jess and Ella were talking about her behind her back everyday and you expect her to rejoin the show with an open heart and now she’s not a girls girl? GET OFF OF HER already. She’s an incredible and talented woman and instead of highlighting her talents and hard work, you put her down. And you praise people like Jess who has no self-respect in her relationship. And started the show off as a complete mean girl. Or people like Kady who was nasty and jeoulous the whole time and has half of Molly’s maturity. Ya don’t like Mollly because she’s above the bullish^t. What does that say about you? Are you both the mean girl, maybe? Molly is going places in this world and is so much more than drama on a dating show. You wait to see who wants to work with her after too. She has beauty poise talent and style.

I love this podcast and the hosts, Sam and indiyah! This review is strictly about the guests with voices that were not made for talk shows. For instance, DJ cuppy was extremely annoying in the last epi. Please stop bringing her on. I literally skipped over the parts where she was speaking and the weird noises she makes in the background that are completely unnecessary.

I don’t understand why Sam would not let Catherine reflect on the situation with Scott and apologize for the way she acted. Regardless of the stress from being on the show, she shouldn’t have treated anyone like the way she did to Scott. It’s basic decency and interrupting her to dismiss her effort to address it is just bad hosting. Disappointing!

If you’re a love island fan, you will love this podcast! It’s the perfect balance of jokes and discussion of the episode. I look forward to listening each episode on my way to work! Love all the hosts and especially Sam and Indiyah!

This is literally my ONLY complaint… I’m in the US and a few days behind so it’s annoying when the dumplings are spoiled in the episode title. I don’t read the descriptions until I’m ready to listen but I just can’t avoid the titles. Otherwise, I adore Sam and Indiyah and the weekly rotating guests. I love that this season the guests are the same each week so there’s always great chemistry. Easily the best Love Island podcast out there!

Honestly am I the only one who thinks Sam is soooo annoying? We know you have a girlfriend. He talks about himself every single episode. Like talk about the show and the islanders.

You’re all so fun. My favorite is toxic Sam. Lol

Really like the energy between S & I, but sheesh - can you stop talking about YOURSELVES? It’s a recap about the ISLANDERS. Feel like the majority of the time is spent on your personal stories and not Villa Life.

Just finished listening to the most recent pod with Curtis and I’m on the floor from how funny it was 😂 so I have to leave a review. Never listened to the pod before but tuned in for Indiyah. I have to say I really enjoy this pod. I love Indiyahs takes on everything. She’s funny and her thoughts are really balanced and fair. Sam brings a lot of energy and moves the pod along well. It’s been awesome to hear their chemistry grow with each ep… they were the perfect two for this. I also really love the general conversations about relationships, dating, and love based on what the islanders are going through. Should consider incorporating more of those and adding a tik tok reviewer like coco sarel.

Their chemistry is amazing. They are killing it this season of the podcast and I hope they keep coming back!

I don’t think this is a good or great as it can be for many reasons. Firstly, too short. Secondly, you have so many different guests, which means introductions and discussions about non-Love Island content eats into the podcast time which means you end up talking about Love Island even less. Also you don’t need the guests; they rarely add to the podcast. We’re here to listen to Love Island content, not to hear about their lives; it’s superfluous. Thirdly, you don’t take sides or talk dirty about a competitor, PROBABLY because you’re owned by ITV. In the end, it makes for a sucky podcast.

I love this podcast but can you guys PLEASE stop calling out the dumped islander guests or winners in the episode titles / first sentences of the episode descriptions?! As a US viewer, where we are two weeks behind, it’s hard to follow along with the pod and not accidentally see spoilers!

Kem and company always give toxic male contestants the benefit of the doubt whether it’s Luca and Jacques on Season 8, or Jordan and Michael on Season 5. I put up with it because they get great guests. I’m done after the way they covered Ekin and movie night - it was disgusting. It’s not hard to believe women, or at least hold judgement until they are in a position to speak for themselves.

Agree with other reviews. Kem is great and is a great choice to be on the podcast. I sometimes skip episodes because Arielle just is not a right fit. Her takes are so wrong and her voice is not easy to listen to. Maybe Ekin-Su for a future host? 👀

I think 99.99% of both Kem and Arielle’s predictions this season have been wrong. HOWEVER, I love to hear their reactions and to hear from their guests (especially Olivia).

I have to agree with the other reviewers—Kem and the guests are lovely but it is hard to listen to Arielle. While she seems like a lovely person, her takes are always soooo painfully off the mark (there’s a reason why Kem and the guests always disagree with her) and she hardly lets other people get a word in. She almost feels too naive to recap a show where people are playing a game to win because she just doesn’t see it. The squealing and yelling is hard on headphones too. Would love to see Kem with someone he can banter with that reads people better!

What a shame!! This podcast was such a vanilla take on love island. I’m not sure who the lady is but she needs to re listen to herself to know that she keeps interrupting people’s flow. Also annoyed that Jake was not pressed about how he was such a display of toxic masculinity towards Lib. This is such an important theme.

Any chance you can replace Arielle for the next season? I think her run on this podcast is done. I’m over her constantly cutting people off, constantly talking over people, and constantly bringing up old jokes about Kem (we get it…he used to cut hair and he was a super fan for Hugo. MOVE ON ALREADY). Kem is fine. The guests are fine. But Arielle needs to go. Don’t care for her takes and I think plenty of people feel the same. Thank you, NEXT!

This pod is basically ITV propaganda. They get all the best guests but have the worst takes.

Look forward to listening to this every morning! Kem is great and so funny but this would be better with another ex-islander as Kems co-host because Arrielle often feels out of touch. She recalls things from the episode wrong so often and doesn’t have great banter with Kem.

Kem isn’t bad I’ve always loved him, I feel like he’s told what to say and is very conscious of how he speaks but OMG Ariel is so annoying.. I’m sorry I hate to sound rude but she is SO OFF on people. she knocks relationships that have ended up being the most genuine (Molly Mae& Tommy, Callum & molly, Siannise & Luke T.) clearly she has no discernment I hardly ever agree with her she’s just too loud in my headphones and never makes me laugh I know they are probably given a script to follow though so i don’t wanna sound too harsh this is a long review for a silly podcast but I had to stand up for my islanders who were genuine 😶😅

Hi so I got into love island last season & I admit I’m hooked! I love this podcast as well! Please make Tolly T a regular we all know the cast of love island is missing diversity & so is this podcast! Tolly keeps it realllllll & I feel the hosts don’t peep certain things & sugarcoat situations at times. We want to hear the real spill not a watered down version! But anywho keep up the good work Love from the US !

I loooove this podcast so much, such good banter! The only negative is the crush club....pretty cheesy. Also sometimes it seems like the person being shouted out may not listen to the podcast. They should be shouted out on twitter or insta stories where they can actually see it for sure. Besides that I absolutely live for this podcast! x

Living in the US and waiting on Hulu to drop new episodes, I let the podcast build up. After I watch a “new” (three weeks old) episode, I go back and listen to it’s episode. It has helped me slow down and savor the Love Island experience (vs binging hard like I did with the older seasons). Just wish the US had one for our Love Island.

I so love this podcast and can hardly wait for morning to listen to it. I’m especially in love with Kem. He’s such a delight, I watch and listen to everything he’s on. He’s engaging, funny, an absolute sweetheart. I wish he and Chris would do a year round podcast, and I’ll miss my morning lift when the season’s over.

I love them both but especially my main bud Kem. Always look forward to listening! I only wish I was from the UK and not America. (PS still agree with Kem on his view point of Megan from S4...still SMH into S5!!!)

Kem is the only redeeming host of this podcasts. Aggyielle clearly lacks empathy and she is racially insensitive. I can’t wait for the next guy that she likes to leave her for a supermodel because clearly she thinks that is okay. #teamyewande

I used to love this podcast, but now it's filled with commercials every 5 minutes and hosts takling too fast & stepping on each other's sentences. It's exhausting to listen to and it's shame bc it was really good. The hosts are likeable, I'd really like this podcast if they slowed their speech and reduced the excessive ads.

This podcast makes me so excited. If you watch love island.. you need to listen to this podcast and we’ll... if you don’t watch love island.. watch it!!! Sometimes I pretend i have an accent so I can be as cool as them (I’m American) but anyways LOVE IT!

I purchased a VPN so I could watch love island this year because I’m that obsessed. Kem is probably my favorite islander of all time and his witty commentary is perfectly complemented by Arielle. They always have great guests as well! I’m not sure what I love more: the drama on love island or tuning in the next morning for this podcast! PS. If you ever want to bring a yankee onto the show, hit me up guys.

I live in Alabama and found Love Island on Hulu. I am OBSESSED with this show and this podcast makes me feel like I have a friend to talk to about all the craziness.

I’m an american girl who lives in ireland and this is my FIRST time season seeing love island...yes I’m already addicted. I was thrilled to see this companion podcast after I saw some of last season and looked up kem...sup? Anyways, keep it going, more new slang please 🙏🏼
