This organization and podcast are an absolute breath of fresh air in our world today. While the rest of the world argues over who has the better ideas, PL goes across borders to share stories of folks in the margins. They offer practical advice for how we can talk about social justice issues with our kids and how we can try for actionable change!

If you've somehow never heard of Jeremy & the folks at Preemptive Love, make sure you remedy that immediately. This podcast is an incredible chance to hear the folks who are on the ground and in the trenches talk about the world-changing work that they're doing. There are people who TALK about changing the world, and there are people who DO change the world, and Jeremy and the crew at PLC are DOING the work. The podcast is filled with inspiring stories, tangible ideas, and concrete ways to move from talk to action. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Amazing stories that inspire and inform

The Love Anyway podcast inspires me to take the next step in my own journey of loving others. Sometimes it’s in my own home, sometimes in my neighborhood, sometimes from my wallet, sometimes from my kitchen. The important part is that I take my next step. Thanks so much!

I have such a huge heart to see the world changed by the love of Jesus. This podcast is a glimpse of people around the world who are making that happen. Their stories are so compelling and encourage me to love those who it may be hard to love.

I’m so grateful for this podcast, particularly season 2. As a mom of young children, I am encouraged by helpful ideas for how to be open and honest with my kids, rather than feel the need to shield them from all the bad news of the world. From listening, I’ve gained tools for how to speak with my children and include them in global conversations. Keep telling these amazing stories!

I’ve listened to all of season 1. Im captivated by this nonprofit and their work in the Middle East. I’ve been heartbroken and joy filled in this series. I found that millennials want the same things in Iraq that we do in the US. They have hopes and dreams of a better world and they too want to make a difference. I heard from those who were a part of the caravan headed to the Mexico boarder. I listened to a man explain what it was like to give his enemy a drink of water...which turned out to be an isis fighter in jail. I even heard from a couple who practice Christianity but visited a Mosque right after the shooting in New Zealand. What I’ve learned from this season one alone is that no matter where we are in the world we all have hurts and we all have dreams. We all want to see better days, we want to love one another, we want to truly impact the world for the future. It’s so beautiful the ways that God brings us all together because you know , we are all the same because we’re all made in His image.

I couldn’t love the message and mission of this organization more. Thank you for sharing amazing stories of the power of love and for inviting us to walk alongside you with each episode.

so thankful preemptive love has a podcast !! this organization needs more airtime ! we need to hear more stories of their people & work; a must listen for any peacemaker or seeker. so encouraged & awakened by their work.

I’ve listened to all of the first season podcasts and I’m filled with hope for the future. The real stories told on the frontlines of conflict are thoughtful and thought provoking. Preemptive Love is a wonderful organization and now we can find out more about the positive impact they’re having because they “Love Anyway”.

Amazing podcasts! I have listened to the entire episode after a few years of following & supporting Love Anyway. These series of real life in the Middle East have caused tears, joy & expanded love & echoes of what can I do? I’ve only heard the “intro” to this podcast, but I’ve been “listening” to the voices from Preemptive Love Coalition for about a few years ever since I heard the founders Jeremy and Jessica Courtney first hand tell stories of their amazing work in Northern Iraq and Syria healing hearts(literally through surgeries) and coming alongside of the marginalized, the displaced, the “enemies” in these regions torn by violence from both within and from outside forces from both the East and the West. You will be hard-pressed to find those talking the talk and walk the walk than this organization! They also do an AMAZING job telling stories through their Facebook site as well! The Love Anyway Podcast tells dynamic, powerful stories! The sound editing is so great and you really get engrossed in the storytelling. It’s a podcast with a purpose. I love listening and look forward to more!

Not only is this an interesting podcast for its storytelling but an important one in how it challenges me to think about what showing up and loving at all costs means. I listen to a number of podcasts that entertain and educate me, but this one gets me to think like none of the others do. Mad respect for you guys, what you do and how you challenge each of us. Thank you for the gift of this podcast.

Love Anyway is required listening for all humanity. In a time when slamming the door, locking it, and crawling into our safe space is the knee jerk response, we need to hear this. We cannot and will never realize a peaceful world without extending mercy across enemy lines.

Vivid & compelling storytelling about the work Preemptive Love is doing in Iraq and Syria. It’s a beautiful example of what it means to lead with grace, love others, and pursue peace even when it is hard.

Stories that help us see beyond the lines that divide us? I can't think of a more urgent and important tool for our world today.

My 22 year old son and I shared the first episode over coffee this morning. Grateful for the open, honest, raw telling of what it looks like to love our neighbor during the most volatile of circumstances. I appreciate the conversation you’ve begun in my kitchen about the deeper connection we all have as humanity. Thank you for your work and inspiration to be the better world we all know is possible.

We don’t often hear about this side of conflict... but we need to. These stories are inspiring, bold, and changing the way I view “loving your enemies.” They show the power of Preemptive Love in action!

This podcast vividly shares the story of leaning into pain. It is so easy to turn off the tv or close the paper when things are “too sad” or “hard to see”. But to believe in a more beautiful world we must also understand the ugly. This podcast is not only captivating, but is also inspiring and challenging.

These powerful true stories have stuck with me. And they’ll stick with you, too. We really do belong to each other. I’m so excited for the rest of season one...and beyond!
