Yesterday and Today
Recorded at Herzog Music -- former location of a recording studio used by King Records -- Lost on the River does indeed have an eye on the history of Cincinnati music. But this podcast really makes an effort to tie that history to the present and vice-versa. Local musicians, promoters, writers -- people active in the scene today -- come in and talk in an unvarnished (see the occasional "explicit" tag) with funny and engaging hosts. Sometimes the musicians play songs, and it's an altogether great and entertaining listen. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Cincinnati music.

Smart, funny, and authentic. Lots of great history and passion for local artists. Mature without being pretentious, listeners leave with a sense that they are part of the conversation! Music and storytelling that seems to include everyone with and ear to hear. Beautifully done!

Great Stuff
With the demise of WNKU it's nice to have a program to keep up to date on what's going on in the Cincinnati music scene. Add to that all the history, live performances, etc. I'm loving LOTR.
