Alice and Ray take several random (but usually relevant) turns in analysing Netflix's newest most watched series, Squid Game (2021). We discuss whether the show truly lives up to its hype, whilst also providing some very real updates on life and Melbourne lockdown!

Alice and Ray chat about the quirky, whimsical movie Amélie (2001), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. After a series of pretty heavy movies, this was the change we were looking for. It's not perfect, but it is certainly feel-good. Also, finally some movement on the COVID-19 situation in Melbourne!

In light of the recent news and trailer surrounding the fourth Matrix movie, Alice and Ray decide to have a look at the original 1999 movie, The Matrix. With groundbreaking action and novel ideas, it's no surprise that this is one of Alice's favourite movies of all time. This week Alice and Ray discuss something that is actually(!) different - 2013's Blue is the Warmest Colour. The unanimous winner of the Palme D'Or in 2013, we were completely floored by the performances (Ray for the first time) and could definitely see why this film was a deserved winner.
