We fight daily between these two. God says to expect the best in this life because He has the best and us being His sons and daughters we should expect the best!

We can expect the worst from this life from all the influences around us but God truly has a better way. When we cast our cares on the Lord and think of the things that are from Him and not from this world we will have a different picture painted for us in our minds.
