Living in Awe
Living in Awe
Denny Mayer
Living in awe is a choice. Like being present or living in the proverbial "now." It's not only about the big things in life that create a sense of awe, but the small things as well. The everyday things, any moment when we are truly present in our lives. One can find awe in something as simple as a crack in the concrete as they can in a majestic sunset. As it has been said, "if you are not in awe, you are not paying attention." In this podcast series Denny Mayer interviews people from all walks of life, celebrities, world leaders, scientists, and your average "Joe or Doris Doakes," as they explore what it means to live in awe.
Living in Awe #2 with Denny Mayer and Jeff Jurman
In our second podcast Denny visits with his once neighbor Jeff Jurman. Jeff is what we call a senior millennial, born in 1983, he is one of the first of the millennial generation (1981 - 1996). Born and raised in Los Gatos, California, Jeff is one of our "Joe Doakes" guests, not a celebrity or well-known throughout the world, but someone Denny has known for years and calls a good friend. We like interviewing people who our audience can relate to. People just like them, living ordinary lives, not basking in the glow of stardom, but experiencing the world as they do. Jeff brings some unique perspectives to the conversation with Denny and we are thrilled to have him on the show. Enjoy the podcast as Denny talks with Jeff about how to experience awe during this current Coronavirus Pandemic.
