The Living Full Out show encourages you to serve others. Assisting those around you doesn’t have to be a time-consuming or draining activity. Tasks that seem simple and thoughtless to you can have an incredible impact on other people’s lives. A skill that comes naturally to you may be much more difficult for another person to achieve, and when you offer your time and expertise to others, they return the favor.

Our first caller, Robyn, is a full time student who struggles to make time for self care. Nancy advises her to eat foods that will boost her energy and focus throughout the day. Additionally, Nancy urges her to research different sleep aids to find the one that works best. Listen in for more tips about how getting to know yourself can allow you to master your diet and sleep schedule.

Our inspirational guest, Scott Graham, has lived a life full of service to others. He spent time working for a nonprofit organization, but as he rose through the ranks of the company, he realized that the workplace culture was toxic. So, with the assistance of his late husband, he started his own coaching company to support people. He was faced with a series of intense losses in his life, including both of his siblings, his parents, and his husband. He learned the importance of meditation, connecting with nature, and how to be alone. Since then, his work as a life coach has changed countless lives. Tune in to hear how he overcame grief and dedicated himself to serving others.

It may be difficult to know where to start once you’ve decided you want to offer service to others. Volunteering in this day and age can be as simple as picking up your phone and talking a stranger through a crisis they are facing. Sometimes, all they need is someone to listen to them. What’s more, providing other people with aid, whether it be financial, emotional, or otherwise, warms your heart as well. At the end of the day, serving others gives you a chance to live full out.
