Student Stories are podcast episodes that are developed and recorded by MRU students. In the winter 2023 semester, a group of NURS 2216 students recorded a series of three podcasts episodes titled "Respect the Hustle".  Each episode focuses on a different unique challenge students have to overcome - income insecurity, food insecurity, or time insecurity - and how each of these challenges relates to student resiliency.  In this episode of the Respect the Hustle series, we explore time insecurity and how it affects bodies and minds. The host, Olivia Stoodley, leads discussions with Danni Lei and Alisha Bagshaw examining some of the challenges university students are facing. The Live Well podcast explores the voices and experiences of students, staff, and faculty at Mount Royal University. This Podcast is intended to be conversation-based, informal, and all about hearing from our MRU community. We will cover a range of health topics and invite people from all across campus to share their experiences and insights. This podcast is hosted by the Healthy Campus Team of Wellness Services.  Our theme song is by Seth Makes Music. This podcast is produced by Jessie Bach and supported by the Community Podcast Initiative. Resources:Mount Royal University Wellness ServicesCall: (403) 440-8877https://www.mtroyal.ca/CampusServices/WellnessServices/ Distress Centre (24 Hour Crisis Line)Call or text: 403.266.4357Instant chat: distresscentre.comAccess Mental HealthCall: 403.943.1500Tollfree: 1.844.943.1500Student Counselling Services Call: 403.440.6362Email: [email protected]: mru.ca/studentcounsellingOperating Hours: Monday- Friday from 9am- 4pmRoom: U216 Mount Royal UniversitySAMRU Reception (Z222)Hours of Operation:Monday to Friday, closed weekendsSpring - Summer 9:00 am to 4:00 pmFall - Winter 8:30 am to 4:30 pm(403) 440-6077
