Subhustle asked me to do a mix of the songs I've been playing out lately, so I threw them together quickly and this is the result.
Guest mix 09 welcomes Scottish DJ and promoter Billy Morris who has honed his craft over the last 20 years at legendary clubs and events such as Glam, Dare, Colours, The Rhumba Club and STREETrave to name just a few! He very kindly joins the SUBHUSTLE series as we kick off 2023 in style with a fantastic house mix featuring big tunes from Jamie Jones, Inner City, Jocelyn Brown, Chaney, Loods, Sabrina Johnston, Galafunk and more.

DJ RVP asked me name my favourite three tracks of 2022 and create a mimimix with them for his end of year show on Gorgeous FM. Here they are, enjoy.

So I've had a wee break DJing back in the real world and been a little bit too busy to do a stream.
I had a gig cancelled this week so thought what better time to do another podcast.
Guest DJ is none other than DDE head honcho and good friend Mike McDonald.
Expect the usual shenanigans with added features and interviews.
As always it's free but you can buy me a pint if you feel that way inclined.

This one went on for a little longer than intended, a two hour show extended to over 5 hours.
I blame the drink.

So I've had a wee break DJing back in the real world but I thought it was time to bring this back due to demand.
If it goes well I might start a monthly show, or bi-monthly.
This week we have an Easter Special, with DJ Matty Miller.
Matty started DJing in 1989 working at various events including: Fat Sam’s, Rhythm Zone, the Venue, Tribal Fusion Tropics, Yabba Dabba and various Sweatbox events. Best known for residency at Sublime at the Edge with Jamie Paton and Paul Ritchie. Soon to be seen reunited again at NOLA for this years DDE.
Expect the usual shenanigans with added features and interviews.
I usually edit the audio, cutting out the errors and dropouts but lost the naked file due to a technical issue so here is the show in all it's raw glory.
Thanks for tuning in.

So, we're back here yet again.
After all the lockdowns, restrictions, vaccines and boosters we're back to a festive lockdown.
My night Dare! has been cancelled along with 6 of my gigs over Christmas and New Year.
So what can we do now? I'll tell you, what we can do, you can tune in my live stream and watch the usual brand of a mixed variety of music, some inane chatter and the slow inebriation of a couple drinking fish bowls of gin.
Expect Claire to look glamorous while tripping over cables and the cats to make an appearance too.
If you fancy, you can even buy me a pint to help with costs. Entirely voluntary though.

We're back.
After a full year of live streams I needed a wee break to recharge the batteries but it's time to get back into it.
The theme of this weeks show was 'summer vibes' and the most request song in the group page was Club Tropicana, hence the opening edit.
Going forward I'll stick to once a month, especially now pubs etc are opening and see how it goes.
I've missed you all, even the belters, especially the belters

After the madness of the Birthday Special two weeks ago, it's Episode 29 of the Live Lockdown Podcast.
Expect everything from 90's trance, house, old skool, hip-house, electro, 80's pop remixes, vocal house, nu-disco, hi-nrg, club classics, northern soul, Italo house, tech house and everything in between, interspersed with nonsense chat and the occasional rant.
Oh, and Claire dancing and tripping over things.
This one got a bit messy, even more than previous week's shows so the swear count and drunken rants may be a bit more than usual, apologies in advance for that.
Billy says sorry, but Cyril Sneer says "ram it"!
Enjoy.

t's been a whole year since I started doing these live streams.
Who would have thought after that first night off the cuff, with dodgy sound quality and some drunken dancing, I'd still be going 12 months later.
Thanks so much to all those who have supported me throughout these shows, whether by tuning in, interacting in the chat, downloading the mixes later or buying me a virtual pint.
It's been a real rollercoaster but kept me sane during the lows of lockdown.
The format of this show was a couple of tracks from each of the previous 27 shows and then take it from here, see where the music takes us.
As always, once the gin has kicked in, the show usually takes a direction I've not planned but as long as it works, I'm fine with that.
Over 1.7K views on this one during the show, so some of you must agree :)
Love yiz a' even the belters. Especially the belters. x
**(Apologies for the couple of breaks in the show. Audio was taken from the YouTube stream and was muted a few times due to copyright)**

Back with my fortnightly series of live streams.
I asked in the FB Group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/1857679424396557 ) what theme for this week and the unanimous decision was Disco.
So here it is, a selection of disco, house, nu-disco, filtered house and tech disco from the 70's and beyond.
Expect original classics, up to date remixes but also tracks with the word 'disco' in them or from the likes of Purple Disco Machine or Horse Meat Disco to keep within the 'loose' theme.
I enjoyed myself so much the two hour show overran (as usual) and I ended up playing for three and a half hours.
Expect a selection of disco classics interspersed with gin fuelled rants and Scottish rants all with the backdrop featuring the halcyon days of Studio 54.
Thanks to all who tuned in for the entire show, really happy with the numbers.
It's been nearly a year I've been holding these lockdown streams so look out for a Birthday special soon.

It's the return of my fortnightly live stream podcast.
Back again for two hours of house, tech house, old skool, club classics and the odd 80's pop remix, although this one overran (again) by two hours :)
Was going to make this a Valentine part 2 as still have a gazillion tunes to get through from that week but the announcement of the end of Daft Punk has meant that they will play a part in this week's show now, along with many of their collaborations and some French filtered house too.
There were some gremlins in this week's show and my internet was lagging so had to reboot a few times, hence a couple of breaks in the audio.
Please be aware this show contains some adult language, more so when the gin kicks in.
As always the event is free but if you have enjoyed any of the previous streams please consider buying me a pint.
